Man how timely this is! 2008-2nd owner- same sounds as yours makes, 2900 miles only-garaged or in my horse barn covered since new. 10/11 she goes in for a full service, new tires, carbs, brakes, fluids, etc & it’s got a stage 2 jet kit on her, solo seat, levers, fender kit blah blah…. I was gonna sell her & buy a r3, 400 or even look at a Grom cuz of the fuel delivery but these r keepers🏆. Glad I found ya n subscriber now too! Safe travels bro🏁
@attilaradics4926 sure, I would suggest maybe the CBR 250R first because it's a little more docile and not nearly as fast but the Ninja 250R is a track ready bike so it's got a bit more pep under the hood
I used to have one. What a beautiful machine. So easy to maintain, so cheap on insurance and so fckn fun. Looks great, I got tons of compliments on mine. Sold it a few months ago, but it will always stay in my heart ❤️🔥🥷
I am looking for my first sports bike and I love the Kawasaki ninja look. Would you all recommend a 250 or 300 or 400 versus getting something like a 650 so I can grow into it? I am used to ride a cruiser motorcycle 535 cc a few years ago (Yamaha Virago) But I haven’t got a bike since. What is the difference between the 250, 300, and 400? Are the odd numbers a different size stroke, such as two compared to four? Thanks for all your help. Seems like a lot of positive comments here and I am appreciative to be welcomed in. On a sidenote I am 5 foot seven 140 pounds so small to average build. I also had a hand injury a few years ago that does affect my grip strength, so I’m hoping that it won’t be too big of an issue, I broke several bones in my left hand as I was wrestling …sucks ass but at least I have a hand. Could be worse. I’m riding in northwest PA and plan to do a drivers course for my license.
I had a 650 as a beginner rider and it was fun, good power but I'd say a little heavy for me; I'm a tiny bit taller than you at 5'8 about 130lbs. I sat on a ninja 400 and it felt so nimble and light, it sits a little lower to so, in general it felt super comfortable and more suited to my size. That's what I'd recommend, get a 400, is light and still has enougn power to make it fun but not a handful to handle as a beginner.
There is a 2009 250 for sell close to me for 1200$ with clean title I want a honda cbr650f but if i can get a bike this cheap maybe i can just keep this for a city bike and get a reall 600cc or liter bike
@@lilmixdboy it's a decent bike and it will go over 100 miles an hour it's fairly fast for a track ready bike in small platform the small gears pull like a freight train at medium speeds on this bike it's pretty crazy the amount of power distribution they were able to pull out of this parallel twin
It is this exhaust pipe However, I brought it down to my buddy's shop and had him heat it up So it would rainbow color. www.ebay.com/itm/404691976336?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=skov5np6qoc&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=uxjm-14ste-&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
