I just installed this product on my brand new z900 (1st mod) and wow! It looks fantastic. I also followed this video step-by-step which made installation much simpler. Thank you Vagabond Motorsports!
First off let me say I probably would not have bought this had you not done this video. I also would never had tried to do this myself but this video is extremely helpful and shows everything you need to do step-by-step-step. I never use any kind of tools for anything, I have tremors in my hands and it prevents me from doing a lot with hand tools, I had to borrow the needed items to start. Now while the video took 30 minuets to do for me it was almost 2 hours but it was easy. Makes the bike look so much better and clean. Hats off to you guys for the design, I work at a motorcycle shop and will definitely recommend your products to my customers.
I was sold after watching this video and ordered right away. I installed this fender eliminator on my new 2021 z900. I was looking for something that I could use my oem signals and have used others in past motorcycles but other small brackets need to be attached to the eliminator in order to make it work. This product is just what i needed, nice light material but seems super strong. The precision , fitment and attention to detail is amazing. I am extremely happy of such a great result. The installation was pretty straight forward since this video shows it literally step by step. Well done guys, keep up the good work!!
I literally have never installed a fender eliminator kit before but after watching this video a few times before install I was able to get it on without any issues or having to look back at the video for reference, everything was pretty spot on, Thanks.
I fitted mine this morning looks amazing. Arrived in less than a week from us to New Zealand perfect condition well packed nice easy install. Vagabond will be the go to for the next bike for sure thanks heaps 🤘🏻🤘🏻
Really great video! Didn't skip a single step which made it extremely easy to understand. I used this as a DIY for a different fender eliminator and it helped a lot. Thank you!
I just ordered mine, it's tough getting a fender eliminator on these bikes! Lady who took my info over the phone was very nice and polite. I work for a Kawasaki dealer and this was the soonest I could get one, great job having them on hand! I can't wait to get it over the border and into Canada! Maybe I'll make a review video for you guys :)
First mod for me also- - thanks for designing the product and making the video! Everything with the installation went great. The video is what sold me on the product-and bet on this kit. ill be writing a 5 star review on Amazon- very happy
Bought this part. Video was a big part of my decision to go with Vagabond. Had tablet there just in case I needed reminder on installation. Fits perfect. Looks awesome.
One suggestion that could be conceivable about your excellent product, is to provide a finishing cover plate to cap off the underside, concealing the wires and stalk backing plates. I bought a Z900 this year and plan to buy one of your FE units.
Man. Can video about installation be any better than this. Thank you so much. This is the most educational and detailed video about installation. I love it and it helped me to save some money. Thank you very much. If only i could give it more than one like. Thank you :)
Nicely done installment video and as well a great design that integrates easily with OEM! Ordering one for my ladies 2018 Ninja 400 and as well as my soon to be 2019 Z900 that I am waiting to purchase as soon as it is available at my dealer. Keep up the good work, we knuckle draggers need help sometimes lol!
The connectors for the indicators on a 22 is bigger and does not fit through the hole. So you will need to either cut your wires or unpin the connector and feed the wires through and repin the connector.
just bought one of these, my concern is that the back wheel gonna throw a lot of water on those exposed cables, so like some one before me said, a plastic cap to finish it off would be great!
Glad to see another product and video, though i have to add. To remain fully legal the licence plate has to hang behind the rear wheel. Its why the factory fender is soooo long or looks terrible in most cases.
Rear wheel hugger in metal usually has a license mount,so can get rid of oem and still be legal...altho never had any troubles with a tail tidy..so long everything works and is visible..
Hey thanks for the tutorial, looking to pick up this product i just want to confirm that it is compatible with the 2020 Z900 before i purchase. Please let me know, not sure if there was any changes to the fender hardware for the 2020' model
the bracket that you slid back before removing the rider's seat is stuck on mine, it feels like someone welded it into place so i can't remove the main seat. is there a bolt or something holding that bracket?
Hi, there is no bolt holding the bracket. You can look around for something that is stopping from it going back. Are you in the US or EU? Sorry about the install trouble!
Vagabond Motorsports yeah I'm taking it to the dealership this week, and yes I've tried pulling a lot harder, and it won't budge, which is why I thought it would be bolted in. oh well.
Wow. Amazingly well engineered and designed product. Very well done video. But woooow kawasaki what a pain in my ass lol. Kawasaki should give me a diacount on the bike for having to do all this work to fix their ugly ass fender.
overall it's ok but just z800 looks more garang and nice than z900, and one thing z900 less cantik coz of the signal ear above the headlamp is damn ugly~ looks like alien nak kena tarik telinga je~haha
They aren't the worst signal stalks from factory these days, not by a long shot. On the flipside, I've seen some of the stupidest and most ratty aftermarket signal stalks ever, and it takes a flashlight to see if they are on at any distance. Would be nice if people were concerned about being seen from 5 vehicle lengths back as to which way they intend to turn. Pretty sure both signals and plate light could have LED bulbs swapped into the oem reflector housings.
Only reason I bought this is because of the integration with the factory indicators and plate light. Had LEDs before and they dont provide enough illumination over the plate.
bad quality product. Both rear blinkers eventually broke down. Lasted less than 7 months. Not good. First the left side. I used gorilla super glue to fix it. After 1 or 2 months, the other side. Same issue. I glued. Just recently it fell off again. The rubber piece is of poor quality. If you ride a lot, with the vibration, it is going to break.
Hi Mauricio, I'm so sorry that this happened! We would like to make this right however possible. Can you please send us an email at sales@vagabondmotorsports.com Thank you and sorry again!
