Good information , thanks! A question to the owner, i own a Duke 390 currently, and i love the engine character of the 390. People say z900 does not have much character. Any thoughts? Also what were the bike did you consider?street triple 765? Why you rejected the other bikes.
Triple 765 will be always eager to rush (as u said - might be typical like 390, but more powerful than a 390). But Z900 can be managed in the traffic with higher gears (bcoz I own one). I too considered buying triple 765, but at that time ,bike availability was taking like 8-10 months. Also it costs around 13L with accessories. And if u add slipon , that’s a different story. Made a query with kawasaki and bike was delivered in 45 days. Has good ground clearance and I tour with my wife as pillion, she s comfortable, but I did alteration for the seat with good foam. For a 948 cc inline 4, good economy is there. Weight can be the only flaw, but for me, it’s not a flaw, that’s the character of the bike- steady on the highway doing higher speed.
I took the delivery from Coimbatore bro. 1st service done @ Coimbatore. But second service was done @ Madurai Imperial motors. I can say the best service centre to interact with and very friendly team was always there to welcome u. Contact Mr. Karmugizhan-Service manager- the best responsive person to support u. Once after interacting with this team, u will never think of servicing at other outlets.
