A Comprehensive Specs Showdown between 2023's HOTTEST mid range SuperSport Motorcycles!
The little inline screamer from Kawasaki that we’ve been waiting to see for years that is garnering a whole lot of hype, the Ninja ZX4R. Up against the sleek new mid range super sport from Yamaha that’s become a favourite in the class, the YZF-R7.
If you want a track oriented, modern and sleek little super sport that could also be a terrific all rounder, it would be impossible to ignore these two titans of the motorcycling world. So today it’s team Green Vs Blue going up against each other with their latest sporty offerings and while they both have the same overall goal, be just as good on track as they are on regular roads, they do go about it in two very different ways. So we’re going to dive into a detailed specs comparison so we can find out exactly which one comes out on top.

@@mfennell70 I didn't say anything about a race bike either, so im not sure why you even said that. Not sure why you would think the 4rr teaches corner speed better than an r7; or assume it will be less costly to run. @@Aberamentho2010You're probably right about running costs and cornering speeds between the two. I thought the R7 had more HP. I think this bike will help generate more sales for the ZX6r, when you start to compare features and parts build quality for the price. For similar price, the 6 has a alloy frame, alloy swing arm and much more power and torque. I hope Honda just gets a full fairing sportbike frame for its new Hornet engine
@ThermicLight
@ThermicLight Год назад
Personally I am really disappointed by Honda. Especially given they only offer us neutered leaner legal versions of the 650R's. Then introduce the "new" 600RR at practically twice the cost of the previous generation. Basically they practically have nothing to offer the average consumer with a full licence in both their Sports or Streets range. The Hornet only being a very recent exception. As such I'm going team Green for the ZX6R. Waiting for the 6th of June as to whether they'll release an updated version.

I would go with the R7 if you want more power. The ZX-4R is going to feel the same because it is still the same displacement. To get more power it just has a higher red redline. So unless she just likes going full throttle without speeding it would be good. Horse power isn't the number you need to look at. It basically shows it's max speed. Torque shows how much work the bike can do at any given RPM and torque is what pulls you back in the seat when you take off. The higher your torque compared to your weight the faster you are off the line and the more powerful your bike actually feels.

I think most are smarter to grab a 600 while you still can. Aside from new or used market. As I don’t see them coming back. At least it’ll be like the 400 class.
