You didn't mention a few major issues. When it comes down to it, it's just going to be which one appeals to you more. They are THAT close. The Bluetooth phone connectivity on the KAWI is useless. You need to download their app, but trust me there's nothing you'll find useful on it. I own a 2020 SX. What I find ludicrous is how ridiculously low and tightly spaced the gearing is on both bikes. They've castrated them. Engine braking at 50 mph in top gear at around 4000 rpm on a 140 hp litre bike ? Gimme a break. And good luck changing sprocket sizes it'll render the abs/traction control useless and there is NO work around. The Suzuki is even worse gearing wise. Only after owning the bike about 3 weeks did I realize this. It's a major design flaw on both bikes. I don't like cruising at twice the rpms I should be, the gearing just makes me ride slower since I'd rather ride the bike where the Engine is happiest. Another interesting note, my 2005 GSXR 600 is DEFF the more comfortable of the two with just installing heli-bar after market clip ons. One inch closer and one inch higher than stock they made ALL the difference. The Ninja has all your weight on the 'taint', you gotta experience that to see how fast you go numb down there. GSXR ? No issues stock seat. Right now I have a 20 year old SS ($3500) and a 4 year old sport touring with luggage $10,000. I'd take the GSXR over the Ninja any day, currently adding proper luggage to it that doesn't hinder its appearance. These are issues you don't realize exist until having owned the bike a few weeks. ATM I'm thinking just ditch the Ninja and put all my efforts and money into a 20 year old SS. It was the last year for no emissions, no abs etc, it's drive by cable and there's simply no comparing the two but the old GSXR comes out a winner where the Ninja was intended to be the clear winner. I know I'm comparing apples to oranges, but that's my experience.... Why keep one bike when the other SS is doing a better job ? IDK man it's been a strange journey with these two bikes, sometimes it takes awhile to figure things out...
Well if you thought that was a challenge dont jump on a older scoot then .. Most hog's have a rider that has made it suit there style of riding and comfort . And yes i have a hog Shovel' evo ' later shovel frame later evo motor .. Stay up right young fella 😎
The Honda is actually a Honda. The "Indian" is a Polaris. Indian went out of business in 1953. Buy the Honda. "Indians" are for post surgery transsexuals.
I was leaning towards a HD. But it is the Indian that has definitely got my attention. Style and the way it looks. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on both HD and Indian.
Actually this video got me into thinking on the used market which I wasn't thinking at all as an option. I am a returning rider and like you said I will be just riding occasionally. Additional to that I am looking mostly into chinese market bikes, namely Cfmoto 450nk, and I know they have very low resale value, so why not benefit from it?
Kawasaki has the classic 180 degree crank 650cc engine from er6 and versys and the the xsr has the cp2 engine from mt07 and tenere that you correctly said has 270 degree crank.
I just got home from the Job I finished and I had a total of almost $35,000 Cash and I was going to take a demo ride on the Kawasaki H2 witch I did and I was shacking half way through the ride riding like a complete idiot I almost crashed the bike went through two stop sign's back tire locked up trying to stop anyway you can probably guess what happened I told the sales Man I will be dead in a week if I buy this bike, I needed to grow up a little bit more so home I went then the next day I bought The z900 still a little beast but nothing like what I wanted but I was at least smart enough to say I can't have anything like that until I learn to use that kind of power on the track only.......they are so fast that you can't make one little mistake or it's all over......so do yourself a favor and truly appreciate what you ride that top end is crazy.........just wanted to say what happened to me.....
Well maybe if ya hooked a couple live wires to the battery and dropped them on the metal loop, you can make it go green….for everyone? ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Xz494g1L0cA.htmlsi=I4dcoAlIFzVMpsqs
Please help.. I have a ninja 400 this is my second season. I'm 5'7 145lbs For some reason when it's windy my bike goes to the right some times I have to slow down or stop. I'm not going fast 60-80km. I never had this problem last year and I had to fight some have wind.
I like how the front end of the ninja 400,but i think the r3 would be essential for me because mileage, places in Georgia are very broad if not a huge city.
Ride that ninja on the track an you'll see it's just a city bike. That rc is couple seconds faster on the track. Their top speeds to is bs. On paper it can say all it wants to about going 115mph, but in real life it don't. You need good long stretch of road, or a good down hill. These bikes like to live 50 to 80mph.
3:00 erm... No... Ride modes cannot magically change the gearing of the transmission... They can certainly remap your throttle, but they cant change the RPM at a given speed and a given gear XD
Just purchased a new 650 GT, Great Bike quality is very good I was waiting for the CF450 Mt, 6 have landed in the UK this week packed with state of the art tech.
The Ninja 400 is a touring naked with fairings not designed to be pushed unless you don't care about your insurance premium. The RC 390 is almost a pure bred track toy. Totally different rigidity in chassis. Test rode an RC the other day and the suspension is simultaneously stiffer and more comfortable; upgrading the Ninja would cost at least 1k forks and shock which removes it from the equation especially given the RC's lean sensitive TC and ABS.
Hi sir! May i ask if backfire is normal when decelerating? I came from stock and its my first time to change my muffler with a slip on open pipe. Please notice.. Thank you!
I put 25k miles on a 250 ninja from 2007-2010 and nowi Wantva bike and love the z400. Im over50 now and have considered the eliminator 500 but I like the z400 and I like the 2500 dollar discount.
I’m 5’1 with a 27 inseam and I’m nervous about if I can fit comfortably on it. I’ve been between this bike and the Vulcan S for a few weeks because that one is definitely better for my height/inseam (however I did find out that bike is like 100 pounds heavier, and I barely have any strength). My main 2 concerns though is how well I’ll be able to reach the ground with my feet and if sitting normally (more tucked because of my height) ends up getting kind of uncomfortable (and also how long I can ride before needing to stretch and such). Besides actually sitting on the bikes and adjusting everything though, I still have about a year to grow, so hopefully I’ll gain an inch or two or more. I haven’t lost hope yet!
I've been riding motorcycles for 70 years, and still own a 2000, non-speed limited, Suzuki Hayabusa I purchased new. It's the best bike I've ever owned. I have a collection of 7 motorcycles at the moment and ride 5 of them regularly.
Nope the India Chief Darkhorse is the winner, i own a Rebell1100, but is becaus of price. I rode the sxout and it was ok, bu the indian Dark horse is just a work of art. Now i teated the Rebell and it gave me way more relax points and it was way cheaper.
