It's kinda crazy cause I'm only 24 and I'm not sure when this came out but I watched it as a kid. This show was SOOOO fire I binge watched every episode when my foster brother gave it to me when I was like 8 or 9
@@theloniouswolf6504 I’m only 26 n I somehow remembered watching it late night/early morning but I was suprised to find it on RU-vid so binge watched it on here for old time sake lol
Actually, Shell Bullet is the name of the Alter in and of itself. Its first evolution is called the Ultimate Shell Bullet, and the full-body variant is the Proud Fist Form.
@@Crossing-Blades They should be, but aren’t. Kinda makes sense as his stage 2 alter perfects the original Shell Bullet, whereas Proud Fist is an evolution, with room to grow. Once he gets the hang of Proud Fist, that’s usually his definitive go to.
this.... this is the anime that got me into anime, i was 13 and it was on cartoon network's adult swim and i rolled onto my tv remote turning it on, scryed was playin and i was hooked
it's a deep fuckin anime. the main character is like a teenager with hormonal rage and he's learning how to use it for good by taking on the man instead of being a hooligan
Actually in a way Kazuma basically went through more hell than Ryuhou did to get this power. I mean he lose fuction on his right side a bit but can use it in battle with alter power. In fact, you might say that it is like the Alavinyanah system in IBO Gundam, where Mikazuki gave up his limbs funtions to attain more power in Barbatos gundam.
If I remember right it’s more that his eye becomes apart of his alter than it’s wearing him down. It could be that the more he uses it the more the alter creeps. His arm also has markings where it normally splits when he uses his alter. Could be a theory that the mysterious alter is the end result of using your alter too much.
one line I always took especially from this fight was how he saw himself as so small and not important but he felt he had to bear the weight of the world, and he rebelled screaming it was too heavy....like you could see this was Kazuma really venting out against everything thrown at him, this anime was pure fire back then and I'm glad to be accounted as one of the many who've seen it.
Man why don't a lot of people talk about this show? I mean it came on Adult Swim back in the day but it just seems like people didn't care for it. But than again the same said for that one Vampire show called Trinity Blood I think.
man, i loved this show I remember one interview with Steve blum (kazuma's voice actor). Kazuma was gonna be Blum's loudest character as of yet. Practically broke his throat doing all that screaming :) Shine brighter!
This show popos back into my memory every three months or so and it always makes reflect on my show preferences because most of the time it’s when I’m watching a slow paced show
This whole episode where Kazuma went into the dangerous jungle, sought out the font of alter power, and powered up, just reminded me a lot of Starcraft 2 Heart of the Swarm when Kerrigan goes to Zerus and transforms into the Primal Queen of Blades. And the part Kazuma gets his upgrade and everyone felt it called to mind the cinematic cutscene of Kerrigan's rebirth.
Love this anime to hell but it left a few unanswered questions but back then I was a little kid and never thought of that stuff. Sigh it was so much better being a kid, now you're older and such analytic prick about everything, "Hey that doesn't make sense this can't real be true bla bla bla".
Yea if you're analyzing an anime about people who can psychically deconstruct and reconstruct matter at will for 'what is real' and 'facts', you've more problems than you may realize.
I really don't think there were going be answers to some questions here. Personally I really didn't care since the characters were the center of attention rather than the powers, making the situations more interesting and investing.
Nah. More of a loner who just didn't give a shit, just protecting people like himself with alter powers cause they were hunted down by some organization (I forgot the name). He didn't have a last name either.
I love this part... I just wish I knew the name of the bg song. I heard it a lot during Scryed but never found it, *sigh* this brings back so many memories the anime of my freshmen year, and just about the only thing I'd watch. This is one of my fav episodes... wasn't there a temple with these little orbs there before the crystal showed?
@project0omega, actually its not a official song, the beat is copied and put in a lot of shows, if u like dbz, type in gohan vs bojack, they used the same beat like in this video.
Not even close 😂 S-Cry-Ed July 4th 2001 vs JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Part 3: Stardust Crusaders 1989 (can't find an exact day/month but this was the year Stardust Crusaders came out)
So Im already starting to figure this out but everything' I search for Scryed if any RU-vidr knows or even any big ass company mention best fights in anime history I've come to know no one barely even my friends of geeks and others don't know shit about Scryed I literally show them and they go wtf bruh how come I've never seen this shit looks cool and amazing, I was like idk nigga u bitches need to get with the program if you didn't grow up watching this or seeing this bad ass show you don't even deserve to be a fan of it lol I literally always do that one by one finger closed action into the fist like Kasuma but instead of having that leather sound affect I crack my fingers one bye one it's low key dope even I impress myself, but no I literally notice only a few of us knows this show just look at barely any views or even see it in any related shit from other RU-vidrs but anyways that's all I'm gonna say Exterminating 4th bullet hahaha later yall
