Kazuya Is Getting HUGE BUFFS | Patch Notes 1.05 Review 

He finally has an easymode, legit 15f punisher again. CHIKOOEH now also having ws1+4 input means you can use it when someone is trying to unga bunga with heat smash into offense, before you were always forced crouched and couldn't do anything. I think they buffed jab range too I was hoping 3,1,df transition would be faster and more easily cancelled. Was also hoping WS3 would lead to juggle tailspin or be made more useful.

I can't wait to try out his faster laser recovery on back 2, 2, 1+2 for wall carry and wall combo or oki follow up.

the HUGE buff for Kaz is df1, 4. Leads to guaranteed steel pedal for 48 damage and another OKI 50/50. pretty damn good for a 15f punish.

I wonder if this will reduce the need for micro dashes in order to connect combos. Its def a W regardless

I’ve been using 31 cd in neutral already but it’s gonna be so much better now cause I can make people respect my 31 cd and not it’ll be even easier to mix with iws2 from 31 cd for free launcher mixup.

He didn't get a huge buff, It's mostly a fix.

The buff to dc3 and 31cancel1+2 is gonna add a ton of damage to his combos .. also the consestant with b22 is ganna make his combos way easier with alot of damage

Cd1+2 will most likely really shine at the wall, the hitbox is pretty huge on it

Looking fire definitely, Kazuya is finally getting more options and a better 15f punish because it feels dead using df1,4 outside of heat Df1 hitbox is hype though, new staples will be sick

3 1 cancel open up a million of choices in the neutral .. it's great to have +5 mid exactly like Bryan b1 .. man i cannot wait until this update dropped tomorrow.

Been really liking your kazuya content lately bro. Tmm thinks that Patricide fist buff is a what ever.. I think hes a weirdo and it will be useful. fucking W patch I think and looks like we will have proper combos again.

Gonna miss the +18 from df1,4. It was seriously useful since it left the opponent right in your face. It will be -11 on block now so I guess I’ll be using df1, 2 more instead. Gonna have to look for new vortex opportunities. The reduced recovery on cd4,4 and b2,2,1+2 maybe? Having a good 15f punish is great tho. All of these buffs sound great. No real nerfs. The reduced distance on block for ff2 stings but it’s fair.

DF1 is the only buff. That mix up fluff ain't gonna do jack at high play.

I dont know about cd1+2 it has zero tracking what so ever... So the 3,1df mixup isnt a real thing. People can step all your option easily😢

It's been fixed, no buf I think it should have worked this way from the beginning After all, his tools work as they should
