you are 100% spot on. i usually do it 3 times a match. the first two times i just punish the duck. and the last time i go for the followup hahha it’s so bad but it works so good just like with steve i use uf4 his jumpkick and after block i do back sway everybody goes for a punish afterwards and b32 clipps most dudes haha
although I'm guilty using these tactis some times, its still usually not worth it cause alot of good players fuzzy it, it is sparingly useful like this though maybe once a set. I actually don't think the first move looks goofy at all and miss when he used to be able to do it backwards in T2. Actually think random ws4 in combos looks goofier
Yeah I love not completing strings to fuck with people. Though If you know the kazuya gonna do this you *can* just dickjab. Which off the power crush leaves kazuya -7. And if he completes the string, the dickjab doesnt come out fast enough so kazuya just gets staggered. So probably best to just use it as a 1 time cheese.

I’ll be trying this out soon. I’ve been using uf4,4 after df1,4 to launch people. It’s hilarious I’ve been using 3,1 cancel to go for free mixups too and it’s actually been working so far. I finish the string if think they’ll mash. F3 has actually been a good poke and interruptor too. I’ve been using df3 after hellsweep to catch people who use spring kick. You can get a full combo from that. Leaves you at +9 on regular hit
@@Grass8182 yeah give it a try it works surprisingly well and works as a 14 frame punish. 3,1 into cancel makes you +10 too. I usually do a hellsweep to start getting them to duck. Then I start doing cd1+2. Cd1 will duck under jabs. You can also do fc 3+4, ws4, or ws3 out of it. My favorite thing to do is Kazuya’s crouch grab from it. It comes out extremely fast and the oki from it is really good. Doing cd3 from it while in heat will also do a tonne of chip damage
All of Kazuya's moves that are obviously heavily negative on block but not unsafe can be used as setups like this. Everyone is so used to being able to just take their turn whenever Kaz is negative, you can do 1243 into power crush, FF2 into power crush, 314 into power crush
