In a recent poll of the NBA’s 30 general managers, 37 percent of them believe Kevin Durant will win the MVP award. He also took a whopping 41 percent of the responses when asked what player they’d want taking the final shot with a game on the line. KD led both those results, while four-time MVP LeBron James didn’t receive a single vote in either category. Skip Bayless and Shannon Sharpe discuss whether it's a mistake to not give LeBron any votes in either category.

NOT saying that he isn't capable but you can't go by what you see here since cases are way, way more about court filings and precedings, legal precedent, and pre trial arguments than it is making a passionate case to a jury or judge. It rarely gets to that point actually. But, yeah, Shannon is a very good debater even when I disagree with him...like here cuz there's no way I'd rather have LeBron taking a last shot over KD. I don't care what the numbers say. KD is going to get off a quality shot no matter what a defense throws at him...can't say that about LeBron.

0:07 Jokic was beating him in every credible stat and metric ALL season. The only thing Lebron had was a slightly higher seed and age. Neither of which should trump getting beaten IN EVERY STAT!!! Jokic had higher points, rebounds, assists, PER, ts%, win shares, steals, and blocks. He led the league in efficiency and ws/48, which means he had the most impact on his team’s winning over any other player. How is Lebron even in this conversation?!

Kobe injury history started way before then, for him to be 40th was a miracle in itself. LeBron was injured in year 16, came back year 17 won a ring, led the MVP race at one point in year 18 until he got injured again (granted Embiid would've won if he didn't get hurt first).

Because Shannon's numbers are cherry picked. And Skip is too silly to not point it out. The numbers Shannon has doesn't account for the times LeBron passed the ball to a teammate and they missed the shot. They also don't count for the times he turned the ball over in clutch moments. There has been games in the post season where LeBron quit on his team or at the very least it looked like he quit. That's why people say he isn't clutch. If LeBron was more clutch he had more chips.
