Keep Your Intake Clean From Excess Oil - F150 Lightning Amazon Catch Can Install 

I wish I had watched this video before dropping $300 on two JLT oil separators. I bought my Lightning in Nov 2020. I'm starting to do things to it now and I'm finding half ass mods as well as I go. I would like to see a video of how you clean your engine. Mine is dirty and oily too. I don't want to mess anything up. I just added a big mouth lfp throttle body and jlt cold air intake. Man the big mouth throttle body really improved my throttle response and the supercharger winds up quick and louder. Its awesome. Keep the Lightning videos coming. Thanks!

Wouldn't venting your oil filler cap w/check ball type be equally effective. It's my experience blow by on a healthy stock motor is insignificant. Catch cans seem to fill w/condensation as opposed to contaminants

Furthermore it is my understanding some positive crankcase pressure is needed for proper engine operation. Your valve cover filter is bi directional. A unidirectional filler cap is available or modify the on you have w/latex cover. A glove works on the larger filler cap elements sans check valve

Adding to this topic. While researching crank case vent. I discovered the Ford SVT developed a PCV that never fully closes. If you've got a problem w/oil accumulation you might want to look at all the causes, could be as simple as a bad PCV. Honestly, have you ever replaced one.

well too late now but before you pulley a lighting make sure the injectors are flowing good.

can you go from both sides to the catch can? I notice the oil gums up my throttle body.....

Question: Why haven't you deleted the EGR? Do you have to comply with strict emissions in your state?

So did the catch can work? I paid like 50 bucks for a jlp one that people say belongs in a air compressor and it catches oil but idk if it's working right because my cousin is using the jlt expensive one and it catches humidity and oil in droves compared to my.

Hey everyone I really need help. So I have an 02 lightning and just put on new lower intake manifold/turkey pan gaskets. However, I don't know the torque specs for the bolts that hold them down. Can anyone please help?
