they survived their "Road Trip" ... they almost had a "Thelma and Louise" Yeah, "Kiki" the Plain Jane Grey Striped Tabby, with the nice svelte domestic cat build. Where I'm at, well, those are our main stock of Boonie Cats. Yeah, and unless they are really full bore feral, they are really sweet. One I know, Angie, which ISN'T a good name... I thought the Rolling Stones were singing about the Most Pathetic Groupie in their Stable, and that's what I thought of Angie before I started really feeding her. Then, because of the Covid, the Vet Hospitals wanted DEPOSITS a Month ahead of time for spaying operations, so I caught Angie and brought her inside and gave her her own room...the Sun Room (the other cats were annoyed), and, well I got to know her. She was probably hand socialized by somebody who helped take care of the litter (confession... I think I took Calico Peggy to the Vet to get her fixed while she was still raising kittens, and didn't realize it until she came back SHAVED showing engorged mammary glands.... ooops! So Angie may have been daughter to Peggy and had been a kind of Rescue. But, yeah, I was even predisposed to not like Angie but just her sweetness grew on me. Yeah, she'd be an indoor cat now, but all the other cats hate her, and she's kind of a trouble maker herself. She makes a huge hissy fit scene with Big Bear Roary who really means her no harm, and then she must have done something to scare the poop out of my Little Siamese Tommy (my most challenging Rescue and so I love him like my own baby... the little devil) and so he hides when Angie is around, so I had to kick her back outside. I remembered Betty, a Paradox I had taken in, a Socialized Stray that had taken over being Alpha of a Feral Cat Feeding Station, and when the Landlords offered a Death Bounty on the Cats I took her inside. I LOVED Betty, but after a few years when Betty just keeled over dead (probably a Bullet Wound I never knew she had) and I saw how all the other cats reacted and came back out, well, I realized they had all be miserable under Betty's regime. So, I wasn't going to let Angie play the same game, whatever my feelings... so I feed her outside.

Best thing about cats (and other nonhuman animals): you don't need their permission to pick them up and go to town on them with kisses and snuggles and cuddles.

Jus came across your channel... I have 2 cats ..a girl black cat I call chumchums an a tortie sweet girl called Lilly. ..I now call her Lillybean..
