@@twistedsister2568 you sound like someone who frothed at the mouth over ‘beergate’ which was legally sound and cleared, but think that the massive disrespect the tory party had for covid rules was a conspiracy theory or not much of a deal. The tory party is the party that has our PM, his home secretary, and the PM he used to serve under with FPNs in office, the PM with two. The tory party was also the ones that gave hundreds and hundreds of millions of what is technically YOUR money, as a member of the public and tax paying electorate, to shell companies. You can thank adulterer Hancock for that.
How do the Tories still get away with simply shouting "growth"? Growth is not important if you don't know where you start from. And it has been explained to the Tories as well as their mindless followers. What's better? 100% growth on 1£, or 10% growth on 100£? I can explain this to a child, but this maths seems to be way above Richi Rich' head...
Start from a really piss poor position because of bad policies growth is bound to be more than economies that have had steady growth from better positions.
It really is a load of meaningless horseshit, Germany pretty much bounced back..that should be the benchmark not how we're limping forward a bit faster towards the finish line after everybody else finishes the race before us.
The only growth I feel is the tumuor of anxiety for our future that has been eating away at me for the last decade. In my life I have lived through many governments, but none have ever been like the bunch of total shit we have in power now. Roll on the next election so we can kick this bag of turds back where it belongs.
All Sunak is able to do is evade every question by just repeating his lies, with no shame. The Tories truly are a disgraceful bunch. Sunak: "This government will have integrity, professionalism and accountability at every level." When is this likely to start?!
Hello Trev Funny enough Mr Corbyn treated PMQs as a serious matter , He said from the beginning , I shall ask serious questions in a well mannered way and if needed I’ll include a bit of knockabout, I ain’t in Love with Mr Corbyn, but neither do I hate the fella , methinks if he’d got into power, with the help of a strong Civil Service, then maybe Britain could be looking a little bit better today ?
I am sick to death of politicians. Point-scoring in a kids' playground while we grown-ups are trying to find a way to eat, heat, and keep a roof over our heads. Shame on them.
Of course it is, because parliament hasn’t changed one iota from when it was landowning friends from the upper classes of society arguing for the sake of it. That’s the system.
@janetgough6585 It's the job of the opposition party to try and hold the government to account over their failures, its not about point scoring. If people didn't vote for these selfish, greedy, dishonest and corrupt tory arseholes since 2010 we wouldn't be in this terrible mess now
@@TheSuperPsychoKiller I don't know how old you are but Frankie goes to Hollywood did a great pop video with Reagan have a boxing match with Breznev(?) although he was probably at deaths door at the time? I need to check , but yes, sounds like a laugh but probably not feasible ?
Hello Jonny yup you’re correct on that one, Since they attained power in 2010 they’ve collected quite a few go to lines , ‘ I don’t recognize that “ ‘ that’s not what I’m hearing on the doorsteps “ ‘ we think that’s not correct “ etc also they’ve banished Scrutiny and Responsibility replacing them with Future. ‘ what we’re gonna do tomorrow “ one of the new buzzwords is. Intention. IE the protesters were locked up because they. Intended to disrupt, make noise and scare the Horses and so on ,
Banging on about illegal migration, when the doors are wide open to pretty much anyone from anywhere in the world. That's some of that tory hypocrisy, that is.
They know mentioning how they'll "stop the illegals" will be their best bet of winning the elections, never mind what is happening in our policing, healthcare, transport and education sectors, and how they're all falling apart through severe underfunding and mismanagement. Illegal immigration has been the greatest distraction tactic in UK politics for years now, it's genuinely laughable how people will ignore the vast majority of issues as long as they know someone is talking about rubber boats at Dover.
@@casteretpollux Starmer realises that immigration is a big issue and also realises that the UK can't just keep adding to it's population year on year without it affecting every part of the UKs people's lives. Immigration is fine if its controlled but in a fair way unlike the tories.
@@miakeogh6844 The poor too - I work in a warehouse and there are new immigrants from Africa, India, Eastern Europe, Hong Kong, none of which are rich. I don't have a problem with this, I think we need immigration. But the Tories are lying and the people that voted for them don't even realise.
"Removing the right for international students to bring dependents" - so if someone is coming to the UK to study and they have someone who is, by definition, dependent on them (be it a child or a severely ill family member/friend etc) our response is "either leave them or don't come"? There's that British compassion we hear so much about
@@andrewwalsh2755 wouldnt be struggling to "look after our own" if the tories hadn't crippled and cut the public services to the extreme. but hey ho "we gotta look after our own" so "fuck your dependent family member or dont bother coming to study".
@@andrewwalsh2755 Britain could effectively look after their own people quite easily if this bunch of c**ts didn't funnel public money hand over fist in the billions to their corporate mates then let them all disappear the profits into shell companies in tax havens to avoid paying corporation tax. Serco probably being the worst offender.
@@andrewwalsh2755 O yes, blame Starmer for everything, just like Corbin. Soon it will be Starmer's fault that the earth is round. The earth should be really flat, but because of Starmer it is round. It is a bit inconvenient, how silly of him. 😂😂😂😂😂
@@user-lq6cc7oi2k... No... I only judge Starmer from things I heard him say and do... ... During the Labour leadership election, he said he supported Corbyn, he made pledges to Labour membership... he said he Wasn't a Zionist... Then... after being elected, he supported the Purge of Corbyn and antizionists, he adopted the Zionists (bogus) Working Definition of antisemitism... He went on to tell Andrew Neil he dropped the pledges because he is "pragmatic, not ideological"... Years later, he said he dropped the pledges because "economic circumstances have changed" For him to then point the finger at others for breaking pledges only reinforces my accusation of him being a liar, deceitful, dishonest... and hypocritical... For Starmer to say, during party gate, stood in front of 2 huge Union Jack flags, that he has Honesty and integrity... is truly delusional... if he actually believed what he said.... But I don't think he does... Starmer knows he's a liar... and is in a totally indefensible position.... He's entangled in a Web of his own making...
Lowest ambulance wait times in 2 years… so you can get an ambulance faster now, than during covid lockdowns? 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾😂😂🤣🤣 Edit: he does realise it was a Tory government then as well right?
This is a legitimate promotion path tactic. Seen it used numerous times. You shit something up. Then fix it. Then celebrate the improvements on the problems you had previously created. Done in the right way at the right time = success. I chuckle at how fkd up it is. Then cry at how it often works.
During the second lockdown 23,000 people died at home, not because they had to wait too long for an ambulance, but because they were denied access to an ambulance! While gasping for breath upstairs in bed, desperate relatives on the phone downstairs trying to get an ambulance were told no ambulance would be coming because their loved one wasn't sick enough yet.
Patel and then Braverman, two obnoxious Home Secretaries who were both good buddies with their Prime Minister, and both useless at their jobs! Anyone who can play around with the civil rights of their electors, should be removed from office pronto, Patel has gone, now Braverman must go!
Patel and Braverman - both of whom benefitted from our immigration policies themselves. Basically saying to migrants, how dare you think you should get the chances my parents did
@@jjefferyworboys8138 What exactly is the appropriate legal channel for someone seeking asylum in the UK who is not yet in the UK? Oh that's right... there are none.
@@SISU889 I would also like to see that, but it's completely irrelevant as... HE'S BEEN OUT OF OFFICE FOR 16 YEARS. I'm getting tired of the depressingly poor attempts at whataboutism.
Did Rishi brag about ambulance waiting times... citing them to be lowest theyve been in... *checks notes* 2 years? So a year into covid is the comparison? What a farce!
Two years ago you weren't so much worried about how long you may have to wait for an ambulance but whether or not your request for one was denied. Hospitals were overwhelmed and discharging sick patients into care homes to free up beds for younger sick patients. Ambulance requests were often turned down on the grounds that the "patient isn't sick enough yet" Many died in there own beds...
@@ianoliver3130 And who's fault is it that the NHS wasn't at all funded enough or equipped enough at the time - despite years earlier being warned we would not be prepared in such an event. But it's totally cool to claim 'record low wait times', right, because it's true, when compared to the most stressed and least funded our NHS was, but an absolute farce looking back longer than 2 years!
Hello Michael nope , Britain couldn’t just return them to France , they used to come in by trucks/Road/Rail , until the UK spent a fortune building Fences and Barriers in Calais and Dunkirk , they also forked out enormous amounts of cash on technology that supposedly detected humans hidden away , they said it was also good for detecting drugs , At the time it wasn’t a secret, Now it is ? Maybe it was another fantastic waste of Taxpayers money AGAIN ?
She is living up to the character in Dallas she was named after sue Ellen Ewing, no matter how many times Jr Ewing tired to get , her away from southfork ,she aways found away to still be there. .
That is something that would normally horrify me but the image is giving me a chuckle. In the words of Jinkx Monsoon "Like a 4 year old trying to move a sofa on its own".
Can someone explain this to me graphically please? Did waiting times start increasing two years ago? And then began decreasing again and are now.lower than they were two years ago? What about three years ago? I believe waiting times were seven times longer three years ago than they were in 2010. This tiny blip is being put forward I think to deceive us about the much worse general trend in waiting times.
... more people... more demand for housing... therefore higher rents... therefore higher cost of living for very many families... and homelessness and misery for some... (to say nothing of strain on public services, NHS etc...)
@andrew walsh i have personally been homeless twice. The first time was because of a death in the family and the second time was a breakdown of a relationship but i got sorted out. THE COST OF LIVING CRISIS is going to make people homeless because Landlords are not going to wait for rents to be paid especially when the person or people are not getting paid enough to pay their rents and all the other BILLS LIKE GAS, ELECTRICITY ETC
@@johnmichaelford3615 not only that but homes will be repossessed because of non payment of mortgages. Interest rates will rise again because core inflation has risen by 0.4 %. This will mean inflation won't go down as fast as hoped.
If restricting the families of students "is the biggest single measure" to reduce migration, what does that say about his competence? The little spiv who promised integrity, professionalism and accountability responds with lies, excusing his weak and incompetent governance.
If the tabloid rags spin it into headlines like "Sunak cracks down on foreigners", then the gammons will be happy, therefore he will be happy. Screw the economy, screw the universities, screw the country, all to get the thumbs up from bigoted gammons who don't even understand school-children level knowledge of even basic economics or politics.
An absolute disgraceful decision not to investigate and Sunak needs to be investigated himself by the police for his corruption. He is up to his neck in corruption and greed.
@@byronelenica8329 The function of the civil service, paid for by the taxpayer,is not there to sort out the criminal activities of the Home Secretary.
Sunak bragging about growth continues to make me laugh given that we're the only economy still behind where we were prior to the pandemic. I don't understand why he keeps trying to spin that into something positive when it speaks volumes about the government's abject failure. What's more, he then tries to brag that ambulance wait times are down on what they were during the pandemic, as you'd expect them to be now anyway, even though ambulance wait times remain abhorrent. It's deluded to think that the situation being slightly less shit than before is somehow a proud accomplishment. 😂
All these Tory failures are costing the taxpayers a huge fortune, while he and his rich buddies are making untold millions at our expense. Wake up people and vote them out at the next election on a massive scale, if we don’t then everyone will undoubtedly be living in complete poverty.
"Trouble with points based systems" wow, I could have written that line. I used to write questions for people to ask at local council meetings (yes, thats a thing political parties do), and thats the exact kind of quip I would often end questions with. We once had a councillor who had been found with gay porn on his Council Laptop so I asked "why do you feel its okay to abuse your equipment in such a manner?" Which got a big laugh, even from his own side.
Sir Humphrey Appleby : Who would plan for the future? James Hacker : Are you saying that education in Britain today is what the Department *planned*? Sir Humphrey Appleby : Well, of c... No, of course not!
Low wages high taxes no thought for British workers but only thought for themselves as to cover there assets what the British taxpayer etc is stumping up the bill for missing Tory revenue etc
Some facts for context: Points Based Immigration was introduced by Labour in 2008 The Tories pretended they introduced it but just tweaked it by lowering the salary level required to qualify to as low as £20,480 per year. It is also no longer a requirement for the worker to be in a shortage profession if the salary is above £25,600. And the Tories have also removed the annual cap when compared with the previous scheme. The only requirements remaining is that you can speak English and have an offer of a job.
What the Public need to be notified of and what Politicians need to be reminded of is that "They Take Our Shilling and They Work For US" and the sooner the UK Populace wake up to that fact the better and start demanding TRUTH from Politicians.
Just look at bravermans face when starmer is talking- she looks like she’s woken up from a nightmare where she is Home Secretary only to discover by some miracle that she is -and she can’t do it!
