Lol and had he not been Keith Richards of thee rolling stones, I'm sure you'd be saying the same thing instead of, ew look at that junkie with missing teeth, right? Doubt it.
I love Keith interviews. Pearls of wisdom . Elegantly high in this chapter of his life. The year he puts together a new bsnd, puts out 1st solo album, a tour , Music Director on Hail Rock n Roll directing his hero Chuck Berry _ all critical and fan successes . Beyond being an incredible rhythm guitarist , bluesman, songwriter , producer, pioneered 🎸 tunings and epitomized the Rock. Star cliche ... He's an interesting. person . Not a phony . And like most Sagittarius', a good. Guy . My favorite 70+ year old philosophers right now.. Keth Richard and ROBERT Plant. Wise. Whodve guessed ..
Cool post .its good to hear from KEITH . iTS GOOD TO HEAR keef TALKING ABOUT MUSIC like i feel about it .pop music is a hustle .everybody i listen to thinks that . real cool , Thanks for POSTING .
I loved when Bob Keys and Keef threw the Telly off the balcony! Happy Birthday to Keith and Bobby I think they shred the same Birthday December 18? R.I.P. BOBBY YOU ARE MISSING FROM US!
Which interview. This is a collection of interviews that lasts and hour and 40 minutes. Why don't you... actually watch the video. There are several later interviews after he cleaned up.
@@DS-nw4eq Excuse me I only saw a video where Keith was high ...I am not judging Keith Richards...just said he was high..and glad it never caught up with him like it did so many others I am no saint....chill out..Keith doesn't need your protection..he is his own fabulous man.
Keith Richards will always be my #1 Rolling Stone🎉🎉.I'm just happy that he's still around to be here to play his phenomenal music 🎶 🎵 and have his amazing songwriting 🎉🎉. I'm glad that they're still here cause, not having the stones anymore would truly be the day the music died 💜 ❤️ 🎉🎉
Love is what it comes down to in hard learned gratitude - that he is here now and still being whole Keith with the joy, laughter and R&B aged in barrels and roads and he knows what else and here he is alive and wise and wonderful. I hear the beloved early albums ... the Black R&B music we reflected in burning honest youth and rhythm with the words over a lifetime. From the source and the midst. The youngest Stone, he sunk the deepest and out-lived the immense pressure to, I hope, give more and current updates from his unique vantage, after all. Imagine McCain; Richards and the Paul McCartney giving us all their truth ... a mere pre-amble to seeing the heavy BS we swim in every day.
Aside from concentrating on Keith being wasted you can tell the pure instincts of his dedication to the band and their music . Probably skipped some dental appointments for dedication to the band and music also. 😜❗I'm actually not joking much . 😎
That Finnish Yle interview is absolute gold! It's awesome that Finland rose from the ashes since then and has become the heavy metal capital of the world.
Congrats to KEEFER YOU RECENTLY LEFT YOUR LAST VICE BEHIND…WHAT WAS THAT? SMOKING! NEVER TOO LATE BROTHER! I’m so proud of your strengths Keith plus your great session work. Love the WINOS❤ I LOVE THE RS! BC YOU CAME FROM A WORKING CLASS BACKGROUND, YOUR LIKELY A VERY NICE DUDE. I’m 1/2 UK & Canadian ,love anything RS and i read your book. Think your a intelligent man. Don’t knock him. Outta the park bc of the drugs and all. He’s a smart alright.😊
James King - While your comment is over a year old, just to set the record straight for you and a number of other comment posters. The interviewer is Bob Harris (nickname: Whispering Bob). He was the host of the British TV show The Old Grey Whistle Test. As everyone knows, Keith was a heroin addict from around 1968-1978. This interview was in 1974, when Keith using very heavily. What happened during this interview was Keith had shot-up before the interview and then nodded-out. He could not be awaken and consequently was over two hours late for the interview. Didn’t go over very well the the production staff. It is a classic Keith interview. The full version is around ten minutes long.
Plain to see 2024. Keith stoned out of his mind. Just look at his eyes. Jagger too. Always loved the Stones & their music. Today, age 70. Great live band. Very limited studio group, especially without Jimmy Miller (producer) & Mick Taylor. Time to retire, especially after Charlie RIP. Surely they have made enough money?
It’s only about the MUSIC and that’s it. and That’s all that it’s about with Keith, he doesn’t care about anything else in terms of MUSIC, and it’s about Human Beings playing music together, and that’s it , like that first buzz when it’s Cooking all together and that’s what I get from it, by the way main stream music today is SHIT , But it’s gotta come back. 😉♥️❤️⭐️🌞
He neglects to mention, he was in boys choir and exceptionally talented! He’s still underestimating his own talent. I’m saying I’m sure happy” You Keith “ made it thru the roughest parts now look what he’s done no Ciggies ! Huge deal!😊😊😊😊😊
well musically speaking keef is bang on except for the who which is surprising seeing as he is a chiswick local. great shame steve marriott didn't get to become a stone but nevermind ronnie's been incredibly loyal and a great player in his own right(write). stones and clapton should look at making an album with dan auerbach or rick rubin producing, y'know a little bit more dirty and downhome(girl). right you are, off to read war and peace - will it never end - egad. love and music to you all, mod paul.
He wasn't shooting heroine at home all the time, he mainly did it exclusively right off the end of the tours in the 70s to key down from all the activity on the road, your average junkie did a lot more dope than kieth , he actually eats dinner ,people don't know how he is ,just cause he looks like a gypsy pirate, but compared to other people, he is not that kind of irresponsible drug user. Guys like kieth are really more of a fan of blues and old time music than a guitar player, I think.
Does anyone here have the Keith Capital Radio interview 1978, had it taped for me on TDK metal head cassette, but the wife threw it out "by mistake" before I had a chance to listen to it
No he never. He did a few cures but it was electric shock therapy that did it. Having unlimited cash also helps but no never went on a methadone script
Keith Richards throwing a TV off of a balcony:"Come a little bit this way so we hit the garbage area." Keith Moon throwing a TV off of a balcony: "Rrrraaaaahhhhh!! Die!!!!!"
Looks like he was getting gray and coloring his hair. Gray changes your hair texture making it wirey, that and teezing it up is most likely why he is able to achieve this style.
That said ... I'm gonna STOP counting at 75% but, obviously, there are GONNA be more. 'Cause that sweet, sick & disgusting "hay-ron" IS a life-long Curse. If you are reading this and you have NEVER done it: DON'T DO IT! I'm not joking ... I mean, it IS the MOST AMAZING thing, for a while. And then ... it's just a curse.
Both. He's got that nasaly speech ( heroin ) and his pupils have displaced all the iris ( cocaine) or speed but probably cocaine since he could afford it all day and night.
The story about Keith and Toronto sounds like great imagination, I say it was all made up by somebody who was well paid some lawyer, all of a sudden it's a blind girl who followed this band from England wherever they played and Keith used to find her a ride so she could watch them play, maybe the blind girl could only see the Stones. Good lie it got Keith off a serious charge let's not forget Maggy the wife of the Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau was rolling around with the boys, that is some pretty heavy influence, listen Pierre, if you don't get Keith off we have some revealing films and Maggy is the star, not good for business Pierre. Now that makes a lot more sense in my book than the story of Hellen Keller..
