Exactly what I just argued on. Her weight loss is her personal and medical story. She could choose to share or not. She's not selling a fitness program as her job. She's a talk show host and Artist. So she doesn't owe the public information on her medical procedures.
She does not have to tell us anything .And when she does decide to share she could tell us as much as she wants or as little as she wants. Is none of our business.
Sometimes not being able to lose weight is because things aren't working correctly in our bodies and sometimes those issues require medication. Not necessarily weight loss drugs, but medicine that helps it function correctly that also happen to assist us in losing weight. And public figure or not, no one should have to share any of this information.
Amen! You can be healthier and start a medication at the same time! It’s not like she was lying about her being healthier and exercising more. The medicine probably aided in it but no one even knows what it is and what she does to lose the weight.
@@Lovelyone1 I don’t know if this is a fact but I read that when Oprah was a spokesperson for Weight Watchers she said her weight loss was all attributed to WW when she was also on a weight loss drug. I thought wow, WW really worked for her but nope.
She wasn't comfortable sharing because it's a very personal journey and there's actually nothing to be ashamed of regardless of the reason. I guess she just didn't want the attention on her body/weight but rather on her work. The attention and speculation will always be there. No need to feed it more energy. Probably that was her reason to hold back. She probably didn't want to be pressured into naming the drug either.
"Acknowledges" would be a better word than "admits". Using weight loss medicine is not a crime, but I think we can all admit that using the wrong word in your RU-vid video title is a sin and forgivable. Kelly should cover Streisand's "Guilty", with its pivotal line "And we got nothing to be guilty of" .
I agree. If you're going to answer the question then give the full answer. I too read that article as she wasn't using a weight loss drug. I get that technically it's not our business but she was willing to answer...partially....basically lying by omission. Don't get me wrong I really like Kelly Clarkson, she just should have been completely forthcoming instead of omitting that from her answer, since she chose to answer. I was shocked when I seen how thin she was in so little of time so I was definitely interested in "how did she do that?!!" ASAP LOL😉
She said she listened to her Dr. her Dr told her to take a medication. That isn’t her business. She can take the medicine, listen to her Dr and also be healthier and exercise and be more active. Just cause she didn’t tell you the “pills” she on is none of your business. If she was that worried about people knowing she wouldn’t have said it on national television. We don’t know/she probably doesn’t know, if it’s the medication or the exercise or what made her lose what weight. It’s probably a combination of both. You still can be healthier and take a medication and her medication isn’t something she should feel obligated to disclose. How’d you feel telling everyone you know what medicine you have to take?
Kelly, you're my girl , and I love and support you 110%. You really don't owe ANYONE an explanation. I am glad that WAITED to speak your business when you were ready to.
Thank you so much!!! Kelly Clarkson has shared that she sees a therapist. So I don't think a person should be told when to share more. I feel like she told it when she felt that she could handle it. I love ❤️ 😍 her. Again, thank you 😊 🙏!
Why does she have to be more forthcoming, she doesn’t owe anyone an explanation. What she is doing is between her doctors and her and shouldn’t be up for public debate.
@@Lovelyone1 Are you yourself pre-diabetic and know what works or doesn’t, and for you which came first…the weight or the blood sugar issues? Because I am. I used to run and lift and hold down 3 jobs while being a single mom and going to school full time. I was physically active and ate clean and still the blood sugars and my weight continued to rise. Previous diabetic medications hadn’t helped me and came with nasty side effects. For one, Metformin, which is the most common drug for pre-diabetes, made me start having short term memory loss. I was panicked thinking I was developing early Alzheimer’s. So these GLP-1 drugs have been life saving literally for me and hundreds of thousands of other average people.
@@stevewilliams9672 I totally agree with you that it shouldn't be secretive, but neither Kelly or Whoopi are taking the actual Ozympic brand they're using another one, while so many people out there like the Kardashians who have nothing wrong with them.except for their mental status are taken oxympic so they can lose weight when the drugt belongs to people with diabetes. This would have been a game changer for my father if he was still alive. 💯
When you are in the public eye, it is never easy to be 100% honest because everybody will be yelling she took this she took that. She was pre-diabetic, and she probably took it under doctor's advise. All in all, this girl does not owe us any explanation as long as she knows what she is doing and did what is best for her health.
It's between her and her doctor. I am surprised she did take meds because I know she said she'd never get botox which involves needles. I guess her doctor and bloodwork scared her.
She said she didn’t for 2 years, and sounds like it’s a medication, not a needle. She also has never said she’s afraid of needles more so she doesn’t want to put a toxin in her body.
To all these People who say it's none of our business it's not The issue The issue is that she lied to her fans about her weight loss.. And miss led her fans and the public
Kelly’s basically forthcoming about most things. There’s no longer a stigma about saying you’re on Ozempic or any strength of semaglutude. But, when there’s an actual condition, and you have kids, it’s not something you necessarily want or need to share. I think there’s a huge misconception that you don’t have to put work in to avoid a plateau. She’s doing a lot to stay healthy.
You don’t know that and you also don’t know what she’s even taking. And it’s also at the direction of her Dr. Mind yo business. Her health is not your concern!
I told you sooo Kelly needed the help from the weight lose drug. She's like oprah did it all on their own. Well done whoopi for being so honest. That gave kelly courage 😂
You don’t know what medication she is even taking. And you don’t know why she needed the help. Like she said her body wasn’t breaking down the sugar and she was pre diabetic. That doesn’t mean she’s taking something similar to oxempic. It means she’s taking something to help with something her body doesn’t do like others. Dumb comment of the day goes to you!
It's crazy how people who encourage weight loss by eating healthy and exercising 😢are seen as fat phobic but when someone is encouraged to take a pill it's liberation and accepting.. make it make sense.
So WHAT! Omg..big deal. Just because she didn't mention it doesn't mean she's not exercising and eating right. People are always trying to find something to.comolain about🤷🤦
@@strawwberryz yeah clean eating an exercise not just metformin alone. Also for some reason I don’t believe you 😂😂😂 y’all are so dumb she lost over 100 pounds in 3-4 months
The only reason I can see that she would not share what worked for her is that they aren't paying her to - so why advertise for something and put her name to it if it isn't going to pay off for her. Guess its all about the money instead of sharing what might work for someone else too if she said what it was. Oh well.
Being honest in their industry isn't always something you'll see/hear so kudos to them. Not many celebs are admitting what their doing with their lifestyles/bodies and so many people are watching them in this part of the world so at least their speaking on it!
People reading this need to remember any discussions between U and your doctor R confidential.......People may ask U questions but U can politely decline to answer.......I don't discuss my doctors appointments, whether I have had the COVID vaccine or who I will vote for.
This is her body. If she is thinking, using medication for loosing her weight is a good thing, she made the right decision, and everyone must respect her own choice.
I loooove Kelly but am a bit disappointed she used a weight loss drug, specially one that diabetics need. You can do it yourself with exercise and eating right, I’ve done it! Of course I respect her choice and anyone’s choice but I feel willpower is better. Obviously if you’re like the TLC people then use anything and everything!!!!
She said she’s taking a medication that her Dr told her she needed to take cause her body doesn’t break down sugar like it’s supposed to and she was pre diabetic. That does NOT mean she’s taking a weight loss drug. She’s taking a medication that she needs to function. That’s like saying “oh I’m disappointed in someone for taking insulin when they’re diabetic.”
Does anyone know if the gummies she took are the Nutri Nation com ones? My daughter has been taking them and I have seen her drop a ton of weight recently
I don’t think she or anyone else has to be forthcoming about what they do… no. It’s her own personal journey. Her ‘job’ is to entertain us, that is it. Her health and how she handles it is not part of that contract with us! My only hope is that all of these people using what ever medical assistance that they are using, doesn’t at some point backfire and cause future health issues… but again, none of our business.
All thiis proves is that the very rich can get access to these things.... my judgment isn't that she used medication but rather how unaccessable it is to everyone else.
Kelly has been shamed for being fat and then shamed because she didn’t admit she needed medical help. No celebrity owes any of us any information about their health issues. People need to pay attention to what is going on in their homes.
pretty disappointing, but then again its none of my business. I hope with the weight loss she could use the opportunity to focus more on building a more sustainable healthy lifestyle that is as drug-free as possible. After all, the side effects and long-term effects of western drugs do come with big consequences, and they are too often not communicated to the patients (not going to turn this into a conspiracy debate). Just my personal opinion.
Her ex said, "Oh, so now you're going to finally drop a hundy after you've kicked me to the curb?". What happened to all that body positivity mumbo jumbo that vanished like sand in an hourglass for a divorced parent? And enough with the poor blood work argument. Pre-diabetes is an A1C of around 6, not 5.7. You don't need injections to lower it by .3. I reduced my A1C from 11 to 7 by eliminating soda and taking one pill. Obesity and type 2 diabetes are closely linked. But getting divorced was her huckleberry, not blood work
@@gagecarlsen3872 She previously mentioned achieving it through diet and exercise. Believe what you wish, but when someone endorses the convenience ideology to fit in with her peers, then abandons it for a reality check and some personal time in NYC, there's nothing wrong with that, provided there's honesty about it.
Politely, we do not need a running commentary on who is taking medication to treat their obesity. This trend of Ozempic coverage is a little stigmatising!
Who cares? Her weight loss is a combination of diet, exercise and a medication that she took due to her thyroid issues. She looks great so why does it matter? I'm so over people obsessing over celebs losing or gaining weight.
Doctors will prescribe you anything with a little nudge, I suffer from anxiety snd severe OCD and thought Oxy would help me, I got 3 doctors to give it to me. Of course I tried it hated it and dumped it but the point is doctors will give you anything.
@@cristinaapariciolinale2119they had to “nudge” her for 2 years. Obviously it was an issue if they had blood work to show for it. That’s like telling someone that’s diabetic to not take insulin..
OMG Why does everything have to become an issue. Utterly R - idiculous - there is so much going on in the world yet you have to question a weight loss process. Leave her alone and MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS. She can share what she wants & she said she listened to her doctor !! Applaud her for living her best life. We are invited to be passengers in her life, not a driver. PLEASE lets discuss important issues - STOP being petty !!!!
“She should’ve been more forthcoming…” No. She shouldn’t feel the need to disclose any medication she takes, as it is not the business of you or anyone else. We can speculate, but need to embrace the fact that we are not entitled to that kind of information.
