I don't have any problem with her using the medication at all... She simply didn't tell the truth initially. She wasn't forthcoming, instead, she chose to say it was walks and exercise and proper eating.

I knew as an artist she agreed to sing songs to people, didn’t realize that she had agreed to share her medical records with the public also. Does she get paid extra for that?

No matter what someone does, people have opinions. People could dislike your type of diet, keto, carnivore, etc. If you get bariatric surgery they complain, meds, they complain. Its no ones business but you and your doctor.

People feel so entitled to know every detail of a celebrity's life, remember that insatiable need is what drove Princess Diana to her death! Congrats to Kelly, Whoopi & Oprah for taking care of their health. All three look terrific, bravo to all. Even with medicine many people cannot lose weight because of so many variables. Better sleep & diet, less caffeine & alcohol, more exercise & positive thoughts doesn't make it happen overnight, it's a journey. Celebrities have trouble conveying how they achieve weight loss success because everyone thinks it is a magic pill.

It’s so sad celebrities and people with money are the only ones who can afford it now. So many Americans need this drug buts if being gatekeep by big pharma.

She denied it at first because MAYBE at first she actually wasn't taking it but had to start supplementing the drug because her doctor and she weren't getting the desired results. If she'd revealed at the start that she was on a weight loss drug, she would've received the same kind of "none-ya-business" backlash of the people saying she shouldn't have used a drug, blah, blah, blah. Just like with anything, you work with your doctor to find what works and doesn't work for you so I'm sure there was some trial and error and she did it the way it ultimately worked for her. Dropping 60lbs over the course of a year isn't drastic. 5 lbs a month is VERY normal for most people. It's her business to say what she did and didn't do so people need to stop thinking they have a right to know. Celebrities are people and just like all people, have a right to their privacy. True fans aren't going to care how she lost the weight because her health, happiness and overall healthier lifestyle is HER business.

I’m glad she said she used medication to assist her with gaining back her health. Being diagnosed pre-diabetic is actually one step away from being diabetic. I’ve been pre since 2017. It’s a struggle and I’m still not on any meds but I do blood sugar readings and it’s helpful. My weight goes up and down like my blood/sugar readings and it becomes frustrating. I applaud her for whatever she feels is necessary. While it’s not any of our business she did say she did it with exercise. So in away, she’s coming clean. Yes, she had to be truthful because of her previous statements and in my humble opinion, it’s her business but coming out with the truth is always better. There shouldn’t be any backlash against her! It’s her health and she’s taking control of her health so people please be kind.

I lost over 100 lbs without meds or surgery. High protein low carb and moved. Walking is my exercise of choice. I would not want side effects of drugs.

No, the backlash is not about using the drung clearly she needed. The backlash was over lying she changed her lifestyle and started walking. Then saying that is not Ozempic she's when clearly is some type of GLP-1 other brand name.

I feel better knowing it's not Ozempic since diabetics are dying due to not getting the drug. Good for her if it's a drug specifically for that purpose and not depriving others of life saving medication.

I’ve tried all of it too and I still struggle with my weight. Everyone’s journey is different. I started with yoga now I’m trying to eat more vegetables. And we should stop telling people that one particular diet plan is going to work for everyone.

If she was diagnosed as pre diabetic,she does say her labs were messed up. Doctors will prescribe medication , even the drugs people are talking about now. Doctor's also encourage diet change and exercise. Sometimes the patient needs help like the drugs getting started. So don't judge everyone by the same rule. Better she get a handle on it before she ends up on insulin for the rest of her life.

I am what is considered morbidly obese. I don’t qualify for these medications because I’m not diabetic or pre-diabetic which is a good thing. But I also am stuck trying to loose weight on my own, without medication and purely with exercise and diet and that’s hard at a point where your body works against you. When physical movement causes asthma there is no exercise. So you just do your best. My point is no one should judge anybody on their weight loss journey! Kelly found something that worked for her and I couldn’t be happier for her. If you ask me it sounds like there are a lot of jealous people out there.😊

Why would she say whatever drug she used? It’s prescribed by a doctor and aside from that, if she said the said drug and someone used it and got a problem using it, she will definitely on fire for “endorsing” that drug.

I have PCOS and take Ozempic to regulate my sugar and they increased it to help me to lose weight. Now if I start working out more and dieting, that will contribute to my weight loss. Now, I have to tell people how I got myself back into better health. NO!!!!!
