Coming from a stable background is definitely something to be proud of and doesn't mean you haven't experienced struggles or suffering. It is a privilege to acknowledge though. I don't need someone to have come from a background of adversity to respect them at all, but I do in some ways have a different level of respect for those people who have come through that and are working SO hard on themselves. I also trust their general perspective more, cause they really get it. If You're privileged I just need you to acknowledge it and not apologize for it, but understand that the levels you reach or challenges you experience are likely easier to get through if you're socially set up to meet them.

I feel like this is the first time I’ve ever truly related to two girls on social media. Podcasts are so important!! I never would’ve imagined this being who they are, as weird as that sounds.

I used to do nannying, too. Kids love me, but I always had trouble communicating with the parents. I have better self-esteem now after working in retail for almost 5 years, and I'd probably make a better nanny today than I did back then, but...no thanks. It's a different kind of stress and they don't pay well where I live, unless you're willing to be a literal maid-of-all-sorts.

if you talk a little slower you can stop yourself from saying ‘like’ so much and using it as a filler word. im only critiquing your speaking bc this is a podcast/interview/show or whatever you wanna call it and so saying ‘like’ so much really stands out

Ok but I'm hyper aware of how often kels is using "like" and it seems to be wayyyy too often. Just some constructive criticism Kelsey, if u plan on your own podcasts try to work on getting that word out of your regular vernacular 🥰 (Charlotte says it a ton too but not quite as often as kelsey)
