I just bought my CP33 a few weeks ago. Like you I wanted to tweak it a bit. Before I saw your vid I found the same Feyachi Reflex Sight from Amazon for $35! Five brightness settings with 4 different sights in red or green! What blew me way is all controls are tactical! I also bought the FS1913A brace. I wish I had seen your video first. I would have known I had to buy the adapter. Ordered that today. Another week of delay. Still haven’t put a muzzle break on yet. Probably will order one today. Same reason. It looks cool. LOL!
I purchased that same brace for my CP33 and I could Not Get it to FOLD, so I sent it back and they sent me a replacement!@ The replacement was just as bad and I sent that one back and received a Refund. I also purchased a Red Dot Sight which did not work properly, so I sent this back and received a refund! I decided to shoot this Gun Stock right out of the box and It works great with No Malfunctions at all! I purchased another Magazine and Installed the 17 round extension and this gave me a 50 round magazine! It's very Important to keep the Magazines very clean because this gun has No internal Feed Ramp and the magazine design acts as the Feed Ramp, so you must keep them Clean to prevent Failures! I also purchased the "LUDEX" auto speed Loader and this makes it fast and easy to load those Hi Capacity magazines that work without failure! I have almost 1000 rounds now without any type of Failures! Great Gun, fun to shoot and I am saving a bunch of money on ammo!
I have the Farrowtech brace on mine! It really makes it nice and only weighs a few ounces. I have a cheap red dot on mine, setting on a half inch riser block. When I don't have my Spectre2 suppressor on mine I use a guntec flashcan. It helps send the blast down range but, more important it keeps the fingers out of harms way! I like your setup too. Very nice sir👍🇺🇸
@@albertsanchez2027 SB tactical wrote the BATF for clarification in 2017, I believe. They recieved a letter back and made it public. Essentially, as long as the brace has been approved to be used as a brace, and is unmodified by the user, then it can be shouldered, because the act of shouldering the brace doesn't count as a "redesign" of weapon under the NFA. The letter is available for download on SB Tactical's website.
@@albertsanchez2027 no problem Albert! I hope you enjoy it. There's one in my local shop, and if it's still there after I get my higher priorities squared away, I'll definitely pick it up.
According to SB length of pull( face of trigger to extended brace can not exceed 13.5 inches) they sell l.o.p limiters on their sight to correct a to long problem. This looks way to long in the video, so what’s the lip?
It really is not that bad, my microphone is attached to my shirt so is essentially right next to the gun when shooting. It does sound like more than a 22 though.
Let's hear it with the suppressor! Few rounds wont hurt it lol. Maybe some ammunition tests with that suppressor on. Maybe enough added back pressure to cycle even more reliably. Not an expert that's why I asked. Great video like always. Something about your style is clean and crisp and easy to listen to. Keep up the great work!!!
Thanks for the feedback, I appreciate it. I do not have a 22 rated suppressor yet and honestly I am afraid to use my 556 on it. It probably would not hurt, but..... After filming this segment I found the cause of the issue was a simple cleaning was needed. I had shot several hundred rounds through and it was just getting gummy.
Hi i’ve been using my CP33 with a silencer-co sparrow 2 silencer using sub sonic ammo it works just fine and it’s quiet enough to not need ear protection
I have the CP33 now and found the Winchester M-22 40gr. lead round nose works best for me too, just like you mentioned in a previous video. Hopefully the stamp for my Q El Camino will be in soon. This will be my first suppressor. Do you have a preferred method of checking barrel/suppressor concentricity?
@@billherrin3465 I think the best all around method would be to use an alignment rod. There are several manufacturers and they are cheap insurance to make sure the bore is concentric to the barrel and the silencer is to the bore as well. Of course the best way would be to remove the barrel and chuck it up into a lathe to verify runout but that is kinda overkill in reality. Most namebrand firearms with factory threaded barrels should be good to go, but to ere on the side of caution is always the better way to go so I would hope with the rods.
use a sight bore i got one for 20$ at dunhams it helps zero perfectly i have the same sight and it was easy to zero with that lil device so the lower one would be easier
I really like the farrowtech system as well, I went with this one so I could get some interchangeability on the braces between a few different pistols.
Thank you, I appreciate your viewing and commenting. The 1913 brace is the polymer arm version, it was both cheaper and a little lighter than the aluminum one.
Hello and thanks for watching. The brace adaptor is specific to the CP33 and will not work on the Scorpion. Although there is one for the EVO that is similar.
its an older one that I had picked up at a gun show years ago. I checked the Vector Optics website and I do not see this specific one listed anymore. They have a similar one called the TAC IMP.
It is as of right now, however the BATF is getting ready to release new rules that may change that. We won't know for sure until details are finally released.
@@CraigsGunChannel What's the length of pull on CP33 with this brace? I've heard that it cannot be more than 13.5", otherwise it is an SBR. Also, the weapon must weigh at least 64 ounces.
