If Capcom gets CvS, I wonder if KOFXVI is more of a dream match with a few Capcom teams (and the other franchises they loaned out to) involved. If we're getting SF6 versions of the characters, I do hope they get creative rights to create their own versions of their costumes. They're so good at it and I am not a fan of SF6 Ken's look lol. Overall this is neat for SNK building up the brand recognition, but I can see it being a bummer for people wanting old favorites to return and limited slots. Atp it feels like a letdown if any of the remaining characters (minus Gato, Hok, and Kain) are MOTW or XV characters, save for them doing something creative with the twins. I would love for at least half of the remaining year one slots to be dedicated towards old Fatal Fury characters. I love them revealing some of the DLC already, and hopefully they can get on the transparency wave entirely and show the whole group before release. I would like them to get all the roster out of the way as soon as possible so they feel comfortable giving us a beta. I would like two before release so they can really sort out the kinks, especially with a PC port. The UX issues are about all that can stop their momentum now.
yeah, 100% perfect fit i think. it's the obvious match up when you look at it with hindsight, i.e. the pairing of terry/ken and mai/chun. it's also cool with ken especially i think because ken has a bit of the snk attitude to him. add to that snk's history with violent ken. i wonder, will we see an additional return of violent ken? fun time for some speculation. i'm glad they didn't pick any of the new sf characters. it's not that the new characters are at all bad or uncool. rather, they just don't that broad appeal and cultural gravitas. i mean, if capcom give you the keys to the cupboard and say "take who you want" you're gonna go straight to the world warrior shelf. you'd be a fool not to. thanks again for all the great stuff to watch lord rome. and the replies too, i appreciate it.
@@missing_scoreI think you could make an argument for Juri and they nearly went with Rolento over Ken, which I would’ve greatly preferred or Luke. I respect Ken’s iconic status, but I think the World Warriors are all pretty boring to play, even if he pairs well with Terry.
CvS 3 is now officially inevitable. It's gonna be exciting to see both Ken and Chun-Li in the CotW art style but also how they play because as it is, SF6 Ken and Chun with feints sound terrifying in the best way.

I think the SNK crew is doing a great job with COTW and now that Ken and Chun-Li announced in the game the lore make sense why it's those 2. So excited to be a fighting game fan.... finger 🤞 maybe 2nd season for COTW will have Zangief and Raiden.

I wish it was ryu but i get it. Ken and terry are the cvs rivals. Same goes for mai and chun. But hey ill take ken over luke any day. CvS3 is now inevitable after sf6 with terry and now this. Move over Kyo, Terry is the snk face now.
