That is so familiar….the quietly whispered “I love you” followed by distance. Been there myself. I hadn’t begun healing my anxious attachment back then so I clung to that “I love you” like my life depended on it
If 1st date is longer than 1 hour, the man will lose interest, usually, not always but usually. The woman has to leave after max 2 hours, in my experience. And oversharing on first date is a narcissist trait. A bit manipulative of that guy. It pushes her to share in her turn more than she was ready to.
This guy sounds Dismissive Avoidant all day long. The mommy issues/enmeshment really hit home, along with so much else this letter writer mentioned. Whispered affection. “I don’t want to waste your time.” Other things said. Fear of change. I’m still working on recovering from a DA I last saw a year ago, spoke to 5 months ago, texted 2 months ago. I had to just totally cut it off after almost 5 years. Painful but accepting my role.
This was great and so informative but there were *20* commercials during this program. I understand needing to make a living but this really, really interrupts the learning experience. Just in case you don’t realize RU-vid is doing that. Edit: 24 commercials.
I believe it is not Ken’s who purposefully and intend to have ads in between video segments. I hear you its tad annoying especially on really good topics. Solution: RU-vid Premium. “All RU-vid. no interruptions.” That’s what RU-vid marketing says.
