I’m sure everyone’s asking for their team to get talked about more, but I’d love it if we can hear more about the Guardians! It feels like they aren’t featured on the channel very often despite their great record.
Funny to hear Ken mention DeGrom as if the guy still had two arms attached to his body. Dude is just putting off the retirement to keep getting checks as long as possible. He'll never play again.
What has Ken Rosenthal every done to make him a insider? He merely writes the narrative based upon information given to him by agents. Whatever YOU want to hear about your team Ken’s got the script.
Yeah, the Yankees don't make the Trea Turner/Juan Soto huge pickups at the trade deadline but there have been deadlines where they make a lot of moves. 2022: Andrew Benintendi, Frankie Montas and Lou Trevino, Scott Effross and Harrison Bader. Now all of those guys ended up having surgery... but they did go out and get them.
The Yankees are good, but I’m so tired of these shows crowning them in June. Tampa was suppose to run away with the division last year… and then ended up in a wild card.
Yankees are in a percarious situation this season because of their luxuary tax situation. I disagree with Ken about them potentially making a big move. They NEED to. The O's are going to make a move that will make them better.
@@bigpictureguys8415 The team has a couple/few positions that they need to improve on. You can bet AL contenders will! We should be worried about the O's.
@@doublem718 the O’s are a major threat and the team has multiple positions it could improve at but you can’t say NEED when they have the best or even 2nd best record in the league. Should they gear up for a postseason run yes, do I want them to yes, but need? Chill
@@bigpictureguys8415 Decided to wait until Os series was done before getting back to you. You still concentrating on my use of the word 'need'? Now you get it!!! Enjoy!
Not only have the Blue Jays not extended Vlad or Bo, they haven’t extended ANY of the players once considered to be their core. In fact, the only player they have extended that I can recall is Berrios. Can’t be great for team morale.
I'm OK trading your cousin... just not the Martian or Jones. 😂 (Especially if it would bring back a BIG piece like Mason Miller (A's) or Ryan McMahon (Rockies).)
No their Defense has been bad..., especially Torres and Rizzo. They've had a few big plays to bail out Holmes, especially against Houston thist first few games. Since then they've been Nails !!
Yanks will get an Arm or 2 a Tanner Scott or Nardi possibly. They've got arms in Minors. Plus, Gil I think will ends up in the 7th and/or 8th inning once he reaches his pitch limit. Can go after a big SP if that happens to habe a better 1-2-3 starting ! Might need an infield bat also considering DJ, Gleybar and Rizzo are awful.
Ist and 3rd are not strengths of the Yankees, but no team has an all-star at every position. Rizzo/LeMahieu/Cabrera are all serviceable players, not empty suits. The Yankees should concentrate on quality bullpen arms (at least one, preferably two, and lefty). So far, the Yank's bullpen has held up, but primarily by good fortune and (seemingly) duct tape. Forget the "would be nice," and address the actual need!
Interesting that Ken thinks being a devout Christian somehow precludes a person from being a raging lunatic. That’s not what I would take away from Christian social media posts during the month of June in particular.
Regressing positively is the correct terminology. There is positive regression and negative regression, because either way you are regressing to the mean.
They don't? Henderson their catcher is 10x better than any Yankee. Their bullpen is good. Rizzo is lousy compared to Montcastle and OHearn. If they played a 7 game series I expect it to be 4-3 Yankees. Let's see if playing Judge in CF all season isn't too much. Let's see if they figure out 3B, If Rizzo starts to hit, if Stanton can stay healthy Soto is outstanding and Verdugo has been good.
@@evanatkinson8804 The only way they would play in the ALCS is if Cleveland somehow has the best record in the AL.. cuz loser of NY/BAL for the division will have the highest WC seed. If you look at the brackets, the winner of the 4/7 seed will play the 1 seed in the ALDS. 5 game series. MLB needs reseeding after each round.
If they played a best of 7 series it would be no different than earlier this season. The Orioles would easily win the series 4-1. The Orioles lineup can mash 1-9. That lineup has no easy outs. Outside of Judge and Soto the Yankees lineup isn’t scaring anyone. Yankees aren’t scaring the Orioles who are the best team in the AL as we saw by the series earlier this season.
@@kevinmoore9547 nope they have less pitching. Henderson and rutschman are not as intimidating as Soto and judge. They also have volpe who’s doing well….verdugo even their catcher has been hitting as well as stanton running into some homers
@@ilovesports410lol last 20 games is ridiculous we sucked last year. Y’all Got us 3 out of 4 this year in Baltimore I give you props but just wait till next week in the Bronx this team has clicked differently since last time we played.
