That Ken Smith growl is amazing! prefer a low action, but my Ken Smith action goes so low with zero buzz that I actually have to raise it. Crazy good basses! I have a 1996 Ken Smith Burner 5 string that I purchased new in 1997. Still own it, and will probably never sell it. I see that green P/J bass in the background too!
Yes, KS basses are something special. I’m more a fender guy. But Smith, such a strong tone. It can take low action indeed, even tuned a whole tone lower. Good that you still have your first one!
