Norm, been wondering, when you would be at Kenansville again. This lake seems better then Headwaters. Have they paved the road? Heard that they were doing that several months ago. It seems the bigger fish are out in the middle. I'm considering purchasing a sharrow prop for my 225 Yamaha. I called the factory, they said, hydrilla doesn't wrap around the prop, when getting up on plane. When are you going to Garcia?

Approx. 5 miles of the road is now paved. The shallow water prop is recommended for sure... I need to fish Garcia soon 👊

So probably a year ago my dad and I made the long trek to the lake from Cocoa, and when we got there the passage to the lake was completely blocked. Is it still like that? It was basically a wasted 2 hour trip for us and we didn't want to try it again until we knew the passage was clear

It’s clear now. But, the lake changes daily. Usually December and January the canals are good. Recommend checking out the Garcia and Headwaters Facebook pages to monitor the lake’s canal. Someone will most likely provide an update there.

Thanks! At the time there were no updates and it seems like where we are located we have to drive an hour plus in any direction for good fishing. We love your Garcia and Headwaters videos. We tend to also hit Kissimmee's chain of lakes. It would be cool to see you make some content that way but I'm sure that's a bit of a drive as well.

This week temperatures are in the 80s. So most likely now during the warmer days depending on water temps and will continue through the summer and fall, October timeframe.

Fished there back this past April and it looked like they sprayed a bunch of the lake. Everything back to normal?

Hi Norm: good to see you out again, I see that you are caring gas cans for the mud motor. For what it is worth my cousin has a boat like yours and he had a 15 gal tank build that fits just under the front deck. Just saying. As always love your videos
