Zach makes no sense. He forgets that salary matching matters (90% offset requirement). Hence, anything involving Scottie would AUTOMATICALLY gut the team because he makes like $7MM per. That means we would still have to add another $35MM of salary which means two $17MM per guys (like OG and GT Jr), or Pascal plus a $17MM guy or FVV plus a $17MM per guy. Only way this works for Toronto (if they want to have a shot at winning annually over KD's 4yr term) is to trade OG, GT Jr. and Khem. Can't trade Boucher since he just re-upped (against the rules), and you won't win with KD unless he has FVV, Pascal and Scottie (and you need Otto Porter, likely as a starter).

Barnes ceiling is 18-20 ppg offensively even though he average 17ppg on 53% fg in 25 games post-all star as a rookie last year? Barnes averaged 10 ppg in college and then half a year later averaged 15ppg on a playoff team in the pros who also turned Pascal Siakam into a 22ppg scorer, but 20 year old Barnes ceiling is 20ppg? The problem with teams trading for Durant that’s not on his list dont know how long he will want to stay even though he has like 3 years left on his deal.

KD to Miami Russ, Herro, Jovic, Yurtseven, THT, Nunn, Gabriel and Stanley to Brooklyn Lowry, Kyrie and Robinson to LA Nets would also get any available picks from Miami and LA. The numbers work in a trade. That would leave Brooklyn with 4 or 5 1sts, maybe some swaps and some 2nds plus some young players and an expiring Russ deal.
