This is why life is worth living. An absolute perfect joke, every second of it, but also a little warm gift that gives hope and energy. This video is my happy little island.
I was seated in the dinner hall at school, back in the 80's, when two teachers sat down at the table. One was slightly Kenneth-esque in his attire. The other teacher was talking to him about a party they were going to, and commented that Kenneth-esque should bring some friends with him. "Oh no!" he said, "all my friends are secret!". Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
La mode c'est Paris! La mode c'est aussi Kenneth ! Quel style, Kenneth est so fashion, so beautiful so élégant! La chemise sans manches avec la cravate, waou, joli!
Good bless you Kenneth you utterly magnificent specimen. You have a look, style and prowess that is not only de riguer... But a perfect encapsulation of the heady days of the 70s. Keep well, and hopefully we'll see more of you soon you magnificent beast.
You are making me nostalgic for the early 1970's when I would sometimes browse through the J C Penny department store catalog while watching TV shows like The Odd Couple, That Girl, and Mary Tyler Moore. 😊 And I literally laughed out loud when you revealed the sleeveless button up shirt! 🤣
Thank you Kenneth for modelling and sharing an exquisite array of summer casual clothing. There's something here for everyman who's wanting to look stylish what ever the weather and what ever the day brings him.
I've watched this so many times and I'm just now realizing the work, or luck, it took to put together this obviously perfect collection. Either way there's a story there.
Thank you Kenneth. I'm sat feeling sorry for myself after a rambunctious evening past, and just between you and I it's been made all the worse by being completely ill-dressed comparatively to the company I kept, such an embarrassment. Your soothing tone and style is currently rectifying all my problems, I'm off to find that blue bird.
Treat yourself to a relaxing night of ironing in your tighty whities. Bluebird may be closer than you imagined, I hope he gives you the pleasure you seek 🐦 Warm Regards
I've just ate a massive tuna pasta bake , then looked at this wonderful video and now i am completely relaxed , i can comfortably now have an afternoon nap and dream well for a couple of hours. Thank you Quentin. Also a Great rendition Quentin of Everybody wants to find a Bluebird. Loved it.
Something from a more innocent time, sadly marred by the later catastrophic fire which not only resulted in the entire Frills of St John store being gutted but also marked the high number of deaths from the fire which still haunt Milton Damerel and as such they still mark the 12th of March as `Man made Fabric Fire Day`. It was thought that the shop would re-open, but the remains of the store is still being worked upon due to the sheer number of bodies which to this day remain cocooned in melted synthetic fabric. The cause of the fire remains a mystery, although some say a floating one-armed thing was seen in the area before the fire started - they remain at large to this day.
Any comment under a Quentin video which ends with an exclamation mark feels inappropriate, just too upbeat and jaunty following the inevitable, creeping unnervingness of the Quag-Smirhes.
Dynamite Ken !!!! That pith helmet / safari suit combo is utter fabby KNOCKOUT !!! Both stylish & practical, in a get up that says "This is a man ready for ANYTHING", and the subtle addition of those patent leather cream moccasins, reveals a soupçon of civility hidden beneath that rough, earthy neanderthal exterior. Good taste can't be acquired... it just "is".
