I for one don’t like the re naming it to potato patch bumper cars. The last time they did a repaint was when the Steelers who the Super Bowl and the cars all got Steelers numbers on them. That’s why they had the yellow and black car. I forgot the player who said they wanted to go to kennywood.

I believe it was Mike Logan who said it after the Steelers won the Super Bowl in 2006. He is a native of McKeesport, just about a five minute drive from where Kennywood is on the other side of the Monongahela River. When the Steelers were presented with the trophy and it was time for someone on the team to say the old saying, "I'm going to Disney World" whenever they win a Super Bowl, Logan basically jumped up and said, "Nah. I want Kennywood to be open for us."

I’m not sure this is a good idea on their part. Bumper Cars are a classic amusement park ride. It’s like retheming a carousel…

I was initally against this move when it first announced. But the more I thought about it, I feel like this could turn into a cool ride. The concept art looks cool. Could it end up becoming a flop? Maybe. But we'll just have to wait and see.
