My review of the Kyoto Curl Bar and some comparison to the Rogue and GetRXd bars I currently have. Kyoto is my favorite since it has both a narrow and wide grip option. It also has great angles for wrist comfort and great knurling. Definitely the best curl bar for someone with a wide torso or just likes an extra wide grip like me.

Do the sleeves rotate at all or are they fixed? I see no mention of bearings or bushings online. Thanks!

How is the chrome finish holding up? Have you seen the Giant 2.0 rackable curl bar? Looks pretty similar to the Rogue option. I was about to write this one off of my short list, but saw this review and it's back on there! Have you tried benching with it, or shoulder pressing?

Chrome has no wear. I didn't know about the Giant. I have not tried benching or shoulder just because it add the balancing aspect and I'd rather focus on the muscle. Knurling is good, maybe a hair on the sharp side, but I haven't noticed at all during lifting. I used code TENACITY10 when I ordered.

@@bench175 have you ever tried to put a fat grip on this bar? Ordered one, may get it in a couple weeks. I prefer pressing motions with axle bars, so I’m hopeful the grips have enough space on this bar.
