Hi I'm glad to see this video, yet maybe you can help me. I have a kenwood KDC-210UI. the problem that I have is: when I insert a micro USB sandisk there is a MASSIVE gap until I reach the first music (depending how much music I have). In the USB there is only music MP3, no other files, but for some reason I find my self flickering the forward button while i'm driving, it's frustrating ! how can I remove this empty invisible gap, I formatted the usb many ways, yet the best way is MS Dos Fat 32 , you can hear the music nicely but the gap i there at the beginning. when set on the stereo "Suffle" (mix) you can see the stereo searching and in between songs you have that gap, when the cap appers it shows on display "no file", so then I press forward unti it finds a song. please help.
Hello. I have a Kenwood dpx503bt. I put about 50 of my cds on a flash drive. It only plays certain albums that I put on the flash drive. But if I put it in my work truck, a Nissan with a stock stereo it plays all the albums that I put on the flash drive. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks
Hey, there might be two things, your Kenwood is set to skip songs in an interval, I'm not sure if such setting exists, maybe check from settings. Or it doesn't play non standard mp3 files. Convert all your albums to standard mp3 files and it might work.
I read somewhere that my Kenwood will only play 250 music files per folder, and any more than that will not get played and it will automatically play the next folder. If this is true, do the length of the files (songs) have anything to do with this? Am I limited to less than 250 files per folder if the songs are real long (like jazz, for example)?
To be honest I never tried with so many files, it could have a limit on the number of files and one for the overall size of the folder, but most likely is about the number of files.
Kenwood is not reading your pendrives due to newer GPT file system that your pc will format the pendrive to. You need to change the file system to older MBR partition file system using disk manager in windows or external software, free partitioning software.
Hello, I just got this exact same Kenwood stereo and when I connect my iPhone 14 Pro it shows the “NA DEVICE” message. Can you help me fix this to play music from my phone to the stereo? Thank you
@@PSVICE correct, the newer iPhones do not have the aux jack anymore. So I am trying to figure out how to play music via usb plug and play which typically should work but it isn’t.
@@xthisvietgirl An option could be to buy a bluetooth adapter and connect it to the phone. This stereo has a bluetooth option, but I've never managed to use it. Or get a second phone that has a jack and use it for the stereo AUX connectivity.
Is there a way to make USB cable function as AUX cable when it's connected to phone? Like, just plugging USB to the radio and hearing whatever I play on my phone through the radio.
@@PSVICE I tried AUX cable and it works, without showing any 'errors', but when I plug in USB it shows 'NA device'. Is it even possible to get the same result with USB and phone, or does USB work only with pendrives?
@@dominiorrr6510 I've used only USB sticks and it works, but they need to be formatted on FAT 32. It also depends on the stick, maybe some do not work.
Hello,i have a Kenwood KDC-BT40U and some files on my usb display NA FILE when i try to play them,is there any way to fix them becauae it pisses me off
Hey, probably the files do not have a standard mp3 format, you can download them on your computer, convert them to normal mp3 and then put them back on the stick. I use Adobe Premiere to convert the audio files but I'm pretty sure you can find online converter websites.
@@PSVICE hi I have same problem but they played before but now they are suddenly not working. Standard mp3 files where playing before and suddenly my kenwood is showing me na file or searching. I think it might be the usb port on stereo. What do you think? I will try format my new usb anyway and try again
@@Giftofknowing Hey, try to format the usb stick, put other mp3 files on it. If not working, try with another usb stick, usually the stereo usb port should not break.
@@PSVICE i did all of this. its very strange. today i bought a new usb stick and downloaded new mp3 files from RU-vid. like i usually do. and still the same problem.
@@Giftofknowing Maybe in that case start using the aux cable, maybe get a phone just for that, transfer music on it, get an aux cable, connect it, the music will play from the phone. Even though it's not that convenient compared to the usb stick.
I guess NA file means that it doesn't read any files from the stick. Try with another stick or format the existing one and copy the music again. It can also be that your music files are not mp3 format.
@@PSVICE Thank you, I never thought of that! My Kenwood plays all my files fine but once in a while I get the NA File message, but I do not know which file it is. They play fine on my desktop computer. So I checked the folder and sure enough, some of them are WMA Files. If this is the problem I will delete them and re-download them as mp3 files. Thanks so much!
@Netlobe Balkan it looks like that costs to do. It brings up a window showing that the free version doesn't do those things, shows the paid version and says I have 2 hours to do it (I assume before the price increases)
@@karolmartino4699 Yes, when you format the usb, it will delete the music. But he can always copy the music on the pc, format the usb stick and then copy it back.
@@PSVICE thanks for the answer and for the video, I'm gonna try that. My usb drive worked perfectly but today I added some more songs and it started showing NA DEVICE. Imma translate for the other guy. Have a good one!
Salve, il processo di formattazione della chiavetta porta alla cancellazione della musica. La copi sul computer prima di formattarla, e la rimetta una volta fatto tutto
