JUST PICKED MINE UP 5 DAYS AGO, this thing is something else dude, x-15 Cummins with the PACCAR automatic transmission is a total beast! 60k pounds of chicken from MN to WA getting 11 miles per gallon. Amazing vehicle.

I used that truck mod before and had the same cab problem you ran into Jeff. I believe the problem is caused by Ruda’s updated reefer. The cooler unit is bigger now and when you turn with this truck it will collide with the back of the cab. When I switched out Ruda’s reefer to the scs one or B4RT’s I didn’t encounter the collision issue anymore.

@@jfavignano So I tried the truck out again with the default SCS reefer and with B4RT's. I didn't get any cab bouncing and I drove around with both an empty and loaded trailer. It's a great truck so maybe try again with those trailers rather than Ruda's? Hope this helps. As for only happening when it's loaded, my guess is the collision for the loaded version of the trailer is slightly different than the non-loaded version. It looks like ATS always switches out a non-loaded to a loaded trailer version regardless if you can see the cargo or not; or in this case whether there is a visual difference or not.

Hey Jeff you can’t use Ruda’s van/reefer with this truck. When you turn tight the trailer makes contact with the back of the cab. This truck works fine with the SCS trailers tho. Hopefully the author will offer a longer frame in the future.

Automatic transmission trucks are perfect for beginners but preferably I'd choose manual. It's comforting to know I'll have more control over my truck Incase things go south.

Can confirm as well on the turn signals since my company has some older T680s. Not too much older as I think they are 18s and 19s. They are also jerky as hell, especially at lower speeds and when backing - though at least they aren't half as bad as that! I'm guessing it's cause our T680s use the Fuller auto 10 transmissions...if any other RL drivers who drive the T680 can confirm that their transmissions offer a smoother ride at lower speeds, then go ahead and say so here. Finally, is there an Upper Midwest map/mod? I'd love to see you going through Wisconsin as that's where I primarily operate, specifically the Fox Valley.

Speaking of something that'll wake you up. Cruising home in the right lane cuz my exit is coming up in, idk about a mile. A stopped semi on the shoulder starts rolling and comes right on out into the lane. I was going 70 mph, had to swerve into the left lane to avoid it and then get back over to make my exit. Luckily there wasn't anyone in the left lane at the time or I'd have been hitting the shoulder instead

Hey, I have been struggling with my ATS when I am near big cities. The game stutters. Is there any fix to that? I have tried lowering graphics settings, but it still happens. Would appreciate the help and keep up the good videos Jeff.
