"Matt, how was it for you?" "It was absolutely fantastic" God yes... I'm 21 and I'm like a school girl with a crush for that bad boy. Download rocks my socks. So proud that us Brits get some festival pwnage here!
I went to go see them on the No Fear Tour with Bleeding Through and Cancer Bats. The were AMAZING it was my first show and it really blew me away i love them !!! Come back to NY!! =]
i was there :).. they were REALLLY good!!! ... i fell over in the wall of death... but it was all ok.. ive never seen them live before that.. but im gunna see them again at leeds fest.. wooo :)
@samharrison14 It'sprobably intentional,Bullet have actually done surprisingly well in America considering that they'e a welsh band. When I first saw/heard Tears Dont Fall on Kerrang, I thought they were an American band.
yes, he did seem a bit to calm, maybe trying to unnerve himself from performing later that day. Seeing as I'm in Australia with slim chances of ever going to Download, even once, how's bullet go?
they still being human... we all make mistakes, and maybe they thought they were in a wrong way so thats why they changed... there you got avenged sevenfold, trivium, atreyu and a bunch of bands that were metalcore and change their style just because their music was becoming too "popular" and all the new bands wanted to be like them, they stopped to sell their old stuff and they decided to change... there's nothing wrong with change the style...
nirson123, I never said theres anything wrong with changing style, thats artistic evolution. The main reason why I think Bullet for my Valentine is completely overrated and overhyped by Kerrang magazine is because they are doing absolutely nothing new, they have simply taken the template of what other bands have done and worked around that. In their metalcore beginnings, they essentially copied Atreyu and Avenged Sevenfold. Now theyre doing exactly what Metallica did 25 years back, nothing new.
Yes yes tell someone to go listen to an equally comercial band....bah.....Listen to Testament they were at the Download show and never get the support they diserve...
nirson123, I dont want anything from Bullet, I just find them a ridiculously overhyped band that jumped on the emo-core and metalcore bandwagon, as in cashed in off a style of music started years before them by way better bands with songs which have way more depth. Then suddenly Bullet start to distance themselves from emo-core and metalcore tags, they start to call themselves thrash. They are now playing music that metallica made 25 years ago. Nothing new, just a bunch of pretty boys on guitars
