RonWellsJS ... was great getting home with a bag of tunes such as these. Record shopping was as much an an enjoyable part of the scene as raving. Ron, thank you for your input. You, and many others, made it a great time. Cheers SC
at the ripe old age of 48 ? listening to this in 2ⁿ17 it still sends shivers down my spine like it did when I first heard Ellis d use it back in 1992 this music will /the rave scene camaraderie /the love for your brother and sister will never be repeated I feel sorry for those who didn't enter into a life other than the pub normal night club and work/this music will//////// never disappear as in other comments garage is where u park ur car house is where u live hardcore is forever long live hardcore Sully d
David Sullivan i was dating a girl back in the day, who's ex was best friends with Ellis D. I remember meeting him when we picked up her kid from her ex. He gave me a test press of their rhythm section track and i played it on the pirate station i was playing at.
David Sullivan got lucky enough to spend 20 years in Europe from 94 onwards and got to meet him loads of times gotwasted with him and fearless in Bremen Tivoli happy times he was annihilated and struggled to finish his set by which time fearless myself and task were gibbering wrecks..🤤🙃😬🤤😁 Kids just don't know!!! All the best fella
i was in 2nd year of high school back when this first come out. A year later my brother bought a set of decks and a bunch of tunes, this being one of them. Needless to say, this tore the house down on many ocassions. I may not have been old enough for the raves back then, but the memories of me and my brother learning to mix, and having friends over for this will always stay with me. The next music revolution is long overdue. When it hits I hope the kids of that moment enjoy it as much as I did growing up in the early days of house, hardcore, and drum & bass.
If it ever happens it’ll never match the love, power and intensity of the 88-93 era dance/rave movement did unfortunately……. The love is lost and the vibe is gone but I’m proud to have been a part of such an important part of dance music history and would love to do it all again exactly the same….. best 6 years of my life (88-93 crew) 🌈🌈🙏🙏💊💊🙏🙏🌈🌈😎
Man I'm so jealous. All of that music is some of absolute favourites. To witness all that when it came out most of been soemthing else. I'm happy you got o experience that. It' d be priviledge
This is a trip the twilight zone! Massive hands in the air bizness, jungle tekno at its finest! on one of the best labels with great longevity. Another quality upload.
13 Bro.... This music defined me... learned more from this than any of the propaganda brainwash at school. That is the power of a Tribal Energy that resonstes US.. It Ignites our Cells... 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Turn the Volume UP
Basement has to be one the best labels to ever come out of this music scene. Bring back Jungle Tekno I say. Kev Bird, Wax Doctor, Mayhem and that ENTIRE crew need to get back in the studio ;)
had all these on basement records all went missing bastards you know who you are nice 1 browno for the uploads mate . Least i get to here them on here 1972 jay
Bonkers brilliant track!!! Doubt you'll hear much better - this was made for illegal raves, it feels like dark warehouses and strobes. Things like this, for me, cannot be bettered as that buzz belongs to us, all those avin' it in the 90's!
