Chris Broussard is now out on the Brooklyn Nets making a way to the next round of the playoffs. Despite having high hopes for the Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving duo, the Nets have found themselves at 0-3 in the series against the Boston Celtics. Broussard tells Nick Wright and Kevin Wildes whether he believes the Nets can fight their way back from this deficit.

KD thrived with the Warriors because Steph and Draymond are leaders. Kyrie thrived with Cavs because Bron is a Leader. Those guys without leadership are just great individual players with no direction. Kyrie had Jason Tatum, Jalen Brown, and Marcus Smart. Kyrie didn't understand the potential of that young team because he's not a leader.

Never understood why people were so high on the Nets in the first place. Came into the season with stars in their 30s with injury histories, an aging and mediocre supporting cast, and no defense. Nets are a joke. I don't want anyone to ever put kyrie and KD on a pedestal. Don't ever compare them to past legends. Both of their careers aren't even that great if you think about it. They showed in this series that they aren't two way players

If you go back and look at durants numbers the past week going into the playoffs he was already struggling he wasn’t great in the last four or five games of the season it may be fatigue but also maybe Durant prime just ended abruptly right before our eyes it happened with Peyton I know Football and basketball aren’t the same I’m just saying

Nets should have traded kyrie and harden together, get some d players, they could have role players + john wall from washington that would been better than keeping kyrie since his basically a burden to nets in all aspect. Despite kd performance, i believe kd can still carry a team, not a championship team but atleast conference finals
