U will not be disappointed we’re hoping one day to meet mrs Bryant and the kids to hopefully give her a smile knowing his impact is still living I love the mamba forever
I feel as though Kobe took the most shots while his team was DOWN 1, 2, or 3 points. I would like to see how many of those clutch shots others made were while being tied. There is much less consequence/pressure when it’s tied and it takes more balls when they are down and lose the game if you miss.
Absolutely. And I also feel, Kobe used to hit shots when the team needed it the most in the 4th quarter. This again is subjective and cannot be quantified, but the eye test suggests that this was the case. Those shots are almost as good as the clutch ones he hit
@@nasirjones7666 If Jordan’s the goat and Kobe’s the closest thing to MJ, it puts him up there. Kevin Durant had Kobe top five before he passed and he’s shared the court with him. Kobe’s peers you know former or current NBA players all revere him. You can’t say he’s overrated when the media has him ranked 12th all time and constantly hated on him while he was alive. The people who would know best like the players that have played him, have Kobe top five. There was intangibles on the court that we will never know about.
MJ said Kobe is the only guy that could beat him cause of that exact mentality you talk about. He scares ppl because he’s so fearless. Willing to leave it all out there. Not everyone can say that. D Wade was another. AI was another. But Kobe’s was different cause it wasn’t just supreme athleticism and confidence, it was the practice. That’s a deadly combination.
Same here. Im a first year highschool bqck in the day. I turn on my t.v and its lakers vs 76rs. Thats is the time when the lakers suck. Chirsh mihm, jones and cook lol.
Most game winners in NBA history... Plus some of them he hit three 3s in a row just to get the Lakers to overtime then hit the game winner!!! Kobe GOAT 🐐 Man Bryant 💜💛
@@About36Greekss He has 36 and MJ is second with 24 ish... If I'm not mistaken, but Kobe for sure has the most... I have the dates and teams he smashed if you want...

Kobe made some huge clutch game winners, game tying shots etc, but something that's often forgotten was his ability to keep his team in the game. Every big shot the other team made he would have an answer every trip down in the clutch.
He made a game winner against d Wade (1 of 3 in less than a month) like that and admitted it’s the only game winning shot he hadn’t practiced. And what do we see here, 2 years later lmao love Kobe man
CLutch stats CAN BE Padded: The mere fact that certain STATS are not published on the internet speaks to the point. Lebron vs Kobe Lebron • He is 40/106 in clutch situation • His free throw shooting is 49/67 • True Shooting is, 49.8% • Assist per 36: 4.2 assists • Turnovers per 36: 4.2 turnovers Kobe • He is 40/96 in clutch situations. • His free throw shooting is 67/79 • His true shooting is 58 % • Assists per 36: 4.3 assists • Turnovers per 36: 1.7 turnovers Playoffs: Last 5 minutes, margin of 5 Kobe: 33/5/4 with a 54% TS per 36 LeBron: 33/8/6 with a 56 TS% per 36 Finals: Last 2 minutes, margin of 3. Lebron • 17/62 in clutch situations in the finals. • 32% EFG • 43% TS. • Assists per 36: 4.26 • TO per 36: 3.1 Kobe • 28/63 in clutch situations in the finals. • 46% EFG • 53% TS. • Assists per 36: 3.6 • TO per 36: 1.08 Clutch has a definition, but it's something people had to watch. Might sound like BS but 1st there were times Kobe's team would be down by 20 and Kobe would bring them back to win and by the last 30 seconds of the game a last second shot was NOT necessary (81-Toronto). Those are things we don't forget. Or 2nd the other things ppl remember seeing when we say clutch: shooting the last shot when your team is down AND NOT JUST when your team was tied and you shoot the last shot (as some players who pad their stats do to take advantage and rig the Clutch percentage shot) before you either go into overtime or win. 3rd and Last way to see clutch is WANTING THE BALL and DEMANDING it when the pressure is on and NOT BEING PASSIVE when it is a close playoff game, and controlling the offense in the last minutes of a close game.
stats were retrieved from Basketball Reference, Backpicks, PBP stats: In 2002, 2003, and 2008 playoffs, Kobe Bryant led the league in 4th quarter points (8.1, 9.6, 9.2, respectively). In 2001, 2009, and 2010, Kobe Bryant was Top 5 in the league for 4th Quarter PPG in the playoffs (8.0, 7.6, 7.8). In 2001 and 2002, Kobe Bryant led the league in 4th Quarter playoff TS% at 63.2% TS and 60.6% TS. In 2003, he was Top 5 with 58.7% TS, and in 2008, he was also Top 5 with 61.1% TS. SportsCenter also published a statistic in May of 2021 which stated that Kobe Bryant had the most game-tying/go-ahead FG in the final minute of a game in the past 25 seasons with 101 made FGs. LeBron James was 2nd with 97 FGs. Let's ALSO NOT FORGET Kobe DIDN't basically play for 5 years. His first 3 years in the NBA he came off the bench and thus stats severely interrupted, and 2 years he was hurt achilles and shoulder. Now, that is no fault to MR. Bionic Man Lebron who has gone 18 years without a complete season ending injury of 82 games. Last, but not least. Kobe played also about 7 years with horrible teammates: Steve Blake, Smush Parker, Kwame Brown where he had to carry the load the entire game and then also try and hit CLUTCH shots; that's a lot different than playing 14 seasons with Hall of Fame starting casts to relieve pressure, increase energy, and allow for a better CLutch shot. Kobe only played with ONE ACTIVE ALL-Star on his team throughout his career.
@@lukekylestanley4072 damn I didn’t know this, all this time I thought Kobe was overrated for his clutch and LeBron was underrated but this changes my mind thank you.
@@survivortheoneincharge7875 it's waaay closer than I thought myself as a Kobe stan, but it's worth remembering statisticians are not in favor of Kobe. Nobody was in favor of Kobe during his career. Thus, it's gonna be hard to find stats that show Kobe for what he was worth. AFter that rape trial and after the feud with Shaq the NBA and media went 98% against Kobe. Bron is great. Kobe is great. Just a lil' too much hate and confusion on Kobe
@@lukekylestanley4072 mj is easily the most clutch player ever. But what Kobe had that makes people think he was the most clutch player is Kobe didn’t give a fuck about the outcome he was so confident that he’ll take and make every shots he takes.
crazy how everyday people and sports talk show hosts never put respect on kobe's name but it seems a majority of the players that played against him are the one's that speak highest of him.
Cmon man we all witness kobe greatness most memorable clutch moments in my life time for sure if you werent watching or even born your opinion doesn’t matter

@@ItsChepps No it's nowhere near highest percentage. LeBron has a higher percentage in the clutch than Kobe, but he's not "clutch". Nah, Kobe just took a lot of clutch shots and literally made about 33% which is good for an NBA player, but not in the top 10 all time.
@@josh4lyfe134 buzzer beaters are game winners, but so are other shots, like MJ shot for 6th ring. I saw Kobe has 26 game winners, to Jordan’s 25. They had the most. But I think that’s inside 24 seconds. Jordan has a 3 pointer in the flu game that won at like 25 seconds. So it just depends on what the criteria. Clutch points are last 5 minutes, score within 5 points. That data only goes back to 1996-97.
There is only one other player in the history of basketball I’d want to give the ball over Kobe in the last 2 minutes of the game. Grew up watching Kobe and will always have a soft spot for him. There will never be another player like him. Rest in paradise king 👑
@@srgetem No. Jordan or Bird. Lebron has missed 80% of his buzzer beaters in the last 5 secs of a game when his team need it to draw or win. Jordan and Bird were about 50%. Reggie Miller also gets overlooked. Those three easily over Lebron.
I can’t even say there’s a handful of guys who clutch shots hurt worse than Kobe shit man. I know they wanted to tackle him out the air sometimes 😂😂😂😂😂
Please stop bringing up Lebron. He's missed sooooooooooo many clutch Free throws he actually runs away from the ball if his team's UP and the other team needs to foul because he doesn't want his FT shooting to cost his team the game. Kobe hit 2 FTs on a torn Achilles. Nuff said. Lebron's horrible FT shooting in CLUTCH moments eliminates him from this discussion. Only 2 players can sit at the table with Kobe in the clutch; MJ and Bird. That's IT. And Bird and MJ have said the same thing lol. Killers respect Killers.
Just ask yourself you are the team owner and a coach and you are playing in the finals. You have 5 of the best players on the court. Lebron James, DWade Kevin Durant, James Harden, Kobe Bryant And 2 on the Bench Steph Curry Kyrie Irving! You have 5 seconds left on the clock. That means you can only pass to one player to finish the game and the score is even! Who would you choose to take the last shot? it is your team. There are millions of dollars on the line! Choose on player! MJ is not included cause he is the greatest of All Time! I choose Kobe Bryant!

God doesn’t want anybody in hell because He loves us, but you must understand why we deserve hell and why those who refuse to live under His authority will go there. He gave us the law (Ten Commandments) not to make us righteous, but rather to show us our sin (Romans 3:20). We’re not sinners because we sin, but rather we sin because we’re sinners. Sin is the nature of our flesh that we are born with due to the sin of Adam in the garden. For someone to be justified before God they have to be sinless. We’ve all sinned (Romans 3:23), and the the law demands death for those who sin (Romans 6:23). God is righteous, so He must punish our sin, which is what He did through His Son Jesus Christ on the cross. Jesus is Holy and sinless, yet He received our sin when He died on the cross, so that we can be righteous before God (2 Corinthians 5:21). When He died on the cross, He said “It is finished” (John 19:30), which means He paid the full price for all of your sins (past, present, and future) to be forgiven. He was buried and rose again from the dead. God will forgive anybody who puts their full trust in Jesus Christ alone for salvation. We aren’t saved based on our good deeds, but only by the grace of God (Ephesians 2:8-9). His precious blood that He shed is the only reason why we can be forgiven of our sins (Hebrews 9:22). If you confess that Jesus is Lord and believe that God raised Him from the dead, then you’ll be saved (Romans 10:9). You are born-again with the Spirit of Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17), and are not only legally justified before God, but also are accredited His righteous (Romans 4:24). Believers live for Christ now, so get to know Him through His Word. I recommend reading the book of Romans and the gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John), and watching Pastor Joseph Prince’s online sermons!!
Look folks , KD is mistaken about Clutch NBA players . Larry Bird clearly is the most Clutch NBA player ever . This dude shot just as many Clutch trick shots from anywhere as Curry has . He has hit shots that are unheard of behind the backboard , off of one foot , Left handed , Rebounding the ball going out of bounds while simultaneously shooting the ball into the basket .
@@tgreg9542 he’s 30% in the clutch. Sorry. Dude has most misses period in NBA history. Malone shot less but scored 1000’s of more points. It is what it is.
Someone did an amazing analytical work regarding how “clutch” Kobe was and from what I remember his numbers weren’t the greatest, in fact quite average. I understand all these players idolized Kobe and his sudden passing but Kobe doesn’t automatically turn into the greatest player because of his death. He is most likely a top 10 player though and closer to the end of 10.
Players feared Kobe and the players of the 90s feared Jordan and the players today fear Steph .. No player fears Lebron not even the rookies and young players of today.
