The fact of the matter is, Lebron is so great that it took a move like a KD to a Golden State team to be able to have the best chance to win the championship. Sure it made winning the west easier. There's no doubt about that. But when there is a team like a Cleveland Cavaliers on the other side with a Lebron, a Kyrie, a Kevin Love, and numerous other great players in that opposing locker room, it takes a great player like Kevin Durant and a Golden State team to beat Cleveland. A few possessions that went differently and the narrative could be very different. But Kevin Durant proved that his move to Golden State was necessary because of the talent he possesses and the skill set that he has. They don't win the finals without Kevin durant.
