im a Celtics fan and it was amazing to watch Garnett routinely throw opponents off with his trash talk. he used it as an asset, in addition to his good offensive skill and incredible defense. jordan used it as an asset as well, so did bird and so did gary payton. all 4 of them were masters of getting in there opponents heads

I’m huge Melo fan and understand the frustration going up against KG in this hame cause I also love playing this type of defense too it was so damn fun lol, but props to KG, man was just competitive on defense with a lot of physicality. You can see him walking away when Melo pursued him not wanting to escalate anything outside of basketball because he’s just played physical basketball, just a few elbow may be those’re outside of basketball just physical!
