It's because the video is 5 years old, the negative comments are buried down. Normally people hate New comedy materials and then it grows on them. And usually the appreciation and the admiration of someone's work is after a few years when they find hard-core fans that know what they are going to expect from that particular person. And people usually put their time to write a comment on a new video/etc when they don't know how they feel or they streight-up hate it esp. when there are no previous comments to tell them if they should like it or not. (it's a shame truly)
