@@mckennadevore8692 I enjoy the implication that the decade-old burner phone was the part that showed how much money he has, and not the mansion or film crew.
well that’s danny. if he wasn’t around a professional crew and that whole scene, he could’ve accidentally gotten TOO goofy and silly and that would’ve ruined his career right then and there…
I feel like he thought that this was the type of story that needed to come up organically on a podcast but he already used his one with Kurtis lol so this was the next best thing
It’s so funny to me how Danny will literally get the highest quality production music videos and songs just to make a joke. Also how he’s a pretty normal guy so he’s just like “WOAH” to everything in the house, he definitely deserves this fame.
samee lmaoo and not to like disregard all the effort required for scripted main channel videos, but i think he’s even more funnier when its more natural bc hes just an all around silly goofy guy
After a little research, I found out the mansion used in the video was the same one used in the show 'Nashville'. Also, the former owner didn't invent the magnetic strip, but he did make his fortune in electronic payment processing services. He also was charged with felony assault in 2005 after cracking a pedestrian's skull open because they yelled at him for driving too fast. So that's a fun fact, I guess.
It's so crazy to see so many people involved and it looks so professional. I guess I just always imagine just Danny and Laura in a mansion alone and Danny dancing like a little nerd while Laura films him lol
@@louiseb6111 comedic timing is still crucial in acting and scripted jokes. It doesn't just mean saying a joke at the right time, it has to do with cadence and playing off other people.
@Sydney Miller spam bots do these shitty things and i don’t know what their motive truly is but if i had to go off of what their accounts all look like it’s probably just to boost viewership because a lot of people fall for these things unfortunately and it has the end goal most the time of gaining subs to the aforementioned poster channel. my advice, you’re probably not going to be hacked if it’s a legitimate youtube link, but just ignore and report them, it’s the most of what you can do to help to problem go.
I get so excited whenever Danny does a music video or song, needless to say, he never disappoints. This absolutely slaps, as does all the music Danny gives us.
when i saw the music video i was like, this is WAY too high quality for a time danny ghosted kevin jonas. and then i realized he ghosted THE kevin jonas so he has to look better than kevin
As someone who regularly works on these kinda sets but also avidly watches yt its kinda fun seeing the worlds collide. All the disgruntled and haggard film crew schlepping around lights and c-stands and Danny and his friends all bright eyed and bushy tailed is a neat contrast lol
Yeah the song really made me reflect on the time I accidentally ghosted Kevin Jonas. His car was broken down on the side of the 101 and he asked if he could get a ride to the nearest gas station. Unfortunately I didn’t have any room in my car because the rest of my car seats were removed for a backyard viewing party of The Office. So we traded numbers and when I got to a place with cell service I called AAA but they said they needed more info about the vehicle. I couldn’t call Kevin back because he didn’t have service, and I wasn’t gonna go back there myself. Later that night I got a text from him saying “dude wtf” but I had accidentally saved his name as Kevin Jorgas so I didn’t know who it was and ignored it. Danny’s song reminded me of the whole scenario. I tried calling Kevin yesterday but he didn’t pick up. This morning I got a text saying “i will never forgive u” so safe to say I think things are alright between Kevin and I.
it was so strange hearing danny scream his lungs out when he was at the college set, like he’s such a chill dude and it completely caught me off guard lmao
This was so refreshing to watch, really loved the entire thing, and it was super cool to hear your thoughts while filming! Also, I'm glad you had fun with it!
The thing I love about Danny is that he doesn’t give a shit and will make a music video on whatever the heck he wants. It always such a random topic that he’ll make his music videos about but it somehow always ends up slapping. I still have this song playing in my head.
I'm happy that you're sharing this because when i watched the music video I realized that the quality of the music and the music video was better than last time :)
I don't know why I completely underestimated the size of the team that goes into a video with that quality. Great work, as usual, and thanks for taking us along too.
It's okay because this footage went on the second channel where Danny likes to get a little bit silly and wacky sometimes, I don’t think it was too much goofy
5:00 The inventor of the card mag stripe was Forrest Parry, and he DID die in 2005, so pretty close to Danny's guess based on the 2004 era "cutting edge" tech all over the house. What if Forrest set that phone down on the shelf and then just died and no one realized it was there?
the ultimate level of adding insult to injury here. Get ghosted? Ouch okay. Get ghosted and then 7 years later get an extravagant really well made music video flexing about it? Never recovering
‘Forrest Corry Parry (July 4, 1921 - December 31, 2005) was the IBM engineer who invented the magnetic stripe card used for credit cards and identification badges.’ So in other words… Danny basically guessed the year this guy died and then got haunted by him in the cane room.
the humour, the cinematography, the production quality, the greg integration, the college phone, the liver king pew, basically hiring the merge mansion mansion-this music video’s got EVERYTHING
I love how much Danny cares about these productions. I know that I certainly did not notice that the phones were appropriate for the times, but I like that I know he did that
I love getting to see the behind the scenes! I did feel that you got a little too wacky and silly at the end, but the quality of the music video and song superceded it.
I had to go back and rewatch the bench moment a couple of times. At first I thought Danny had just exposed the Liver King of renting a mansion and claiming to own it. It really looked like the exact same bench and hallway at first. I'm so disappointed that it's not the same hallway, that would have been so insanely funny.
danny is so effortlessly funny and can improvise so well it would be so cool to go to his standup or be friends with him man i haven't stopped smiling the entire video
the quality of the music video is fucking incredible. thank you for going through the effort to hire a talented team for this. im super impressed. your videos lately, in quantity and quality have been getting better and better, and i think i speak for all of us when i say i notice and appreciate it!
my first Danny song was Slime and I can't believe how far you've come musically, it's been so fun to watch you on your journey! also I love this style of video so much! it reminds me of Ryan Higa's behind the scenes videos that he'd make, I feel so much nostalgia 😭
Okay okay, amazing amount of effort put into this music video and I couldn’t be more impressed, but are we going to ignore how Danny bought a expensive ass suit and forgot to buy fucking pants.
It's a treat watching you having fun & being so creative & happy. I'm happy to know your happy seeing as you bring me happiness laughing along with your videos basically everyday. ❤
