SUBSCRIBE FOR MORE CELEB INTERVIEWS! Emmy-Winner Jake Hamilton talks with writer/director Kevin Smith and the stars of CLERKS III -- Rosario Dawson, Jason Mewes, Brian O'Halloran, Jeff Anderson!
He is such a class act. He's always so respectful and kind to whoever he's talking to, whether it's a nobody at a fan event, or an a-list actor. Legend, and I'm sure a very kind, interesting, cool and down to earth bloke in person.
Met Kevin and Jay this summer a Fan Expo in Denver. It was such an amazing experience! These guys are class acts! I went in for a picture with both of them, wearing an old coat I bought around the release of J&SB Strikes Back that looked a lot like Jays coat in that movie. Kevin greeted me with a big hug, and Jay gave me a fist bump. They both commented on how close my coat looked like Jays coat. Kevin tells me they want to borrow my coat because Jay didn't have his Jay outfit, and they were taking pictures in character later on. Of course I let Jay borrow my coat! Real Jay wore my Jay coat I bought 20 years ago! SO COOL! Later i get a text from Kevins Manager telling me to get my coat. I get there and Jay is signing my coat! So awesome! They give me a few pictures personalized by Kevin and Jay and tell me to get in line where they are signing things. Kevin sees me holding the coat, and asks if I would like him to sign it, I say, I'd Love you to sign it! I told him I had more things for him to sign, and he tells me to break them out. I break out 3 MOTU figures, newer and classic looking Teela, and Evil Lynn, since they were the main characters of his MOTU series, and a brand new Blu Ray copy of J&SB Reboot. Kevin tells me to take the Blu Ray out of the package. He signs the paper inside, and tells me he will sign the disc just because. Jay signs it also. Then he looks at the MOTU figures and mentions it was the first time he had seen both Teelas side by side. I told him I think I might have gotten classic Teela early (honestly dont know if I had or not). But that was cool to hear him say that I presented him a first. I thanked both of the guys again and walked out of the booth. Man, what an amazing experience! Something I will never forget! Thanks Kevin and Jay for being so awesome to your fans!
Came for the intriguing title, stayed for the Voyage of the Mimi references. This 35-year-old just got transported to 5th grade biology class and lived to tell the tale
Thank you for these interviews, I am already excited to see the movie on Friday but being able to see interviews with my favorite director and actors is an amazing experience. Thank you for that and thank you Brian, Jeff, jason, Rosario and kevin for doing this. I hope to see you guys on friday
When I was at School of Visual Arts Kevin Smith’s Clerks inspired me so much. He’s such a cool, grounded guy and an awesome vegan. He’s so humble and inspired so many people like me.
Love Clerks and Clerks II, I watch them both at least once a month. I love the dialogue in both movies. I've been waiting for Clerks III for so long. There were always rumors about it but never thought it would get made. I also follow Jason on Twitch. Great group of guys, can't wait to see Clerks III.
@@WolfPred Horrible Hollywood Bullshit... Hollywood has destroyed Kevin Smith's real talent. I'll probably never watch another Kevin Smith movie. I'm sure everyone else loves it because I hate it so much.
Jake asks the kinds of questions and points things out in his interviews that we as everyday people would ask any of these celebrities and the fact that Jake conducts himself as an every man makes watching his interviews very relatable and down to earth and that’s his secret sauce
I made a joke at the box office about it being a "Fathom event". I never fathomed paying $13.00 for a Clerks movie. But it was a event and worth the spend. I have never seen a perfect movie and don't expect to ever see one. This was a complete movie in many ways and was more than I expected. As always Silent Bob got the best dialog... :) Kevin takes care of Bob. 😁
I shitted on yoga hosers on insta one time and Kevin responded with very thoughtful and disarming words. I'll never shit on another director again, I didn't think they would see it! I felt bad lol
Their watching Pulp Fiction and Wanda bursts in right during the "Dead N Storage" scene. " I know that cracka didn't just say that!" And then she looks over and sees Quentin, himself. And "Awww hell no.". Just in time for Earthquake to show up, and Quentin is one of his heros. But not Kevin, he doesn't know him.
Every time my wife, kids and I went to the nearby Jersey state park we’d stop in at the Quik Stop. It’s as crappy and smelly as they say. Mold, mildew and coffee. Yet because I was a clerk while in college in 94 the place is special. Go figure. Clerks connects with me about an earlier time in my life. Maybe not bring so hung up on stupid details. The 90s truly was a chill time.
I love how much of a fan of Kevins he is that's honestly why he for my subscription. I've never seen anything but his interview at the beginning of the video with Kevin and the love was enough and now seeing him interview the rest I think I made a good choice
I’m ok with being the only yoga hosers fan but tusk was amazing still my all time favorite Johnny depp character I just think a lot of people haven’t hit the yoga hosers train yet but it’s a great film that gets lots of hate
no way kevin smith will see this but you should do another jay and silent bob movie called jay and silent bob return considering you had jay and silent bob strike back
Clerks 4 needs to fully embrace the parody this franchise became with Clerks 3. Randall needs to discover the existence of a time machine in the "adults only" section of the video store. He goes back in time to save Becky from the car crash only to discover Dante died in her place in the timeline to which he returns. Seeing how Dante's kid has grown up (now working at Quickstop and looking very much like he's adopted the bitter asshole mentality that Randall is known for) without his dad around, Randall realizes what he has to do. Randall travels back again and offers to run the errand Becky (and then Dante) runs at the time of their accident. Randall sacrifices himself and the film ends with Dante, in uniform, walking into the Quickstop to greet Becky and their son behind the counter with some sort of memorial in the background to Randall.
Sorry to you Rosario Dawson, but the correct answer is Becky should have some scenes with Bethany from Dogma now that her Immaculate Conception child is 22 years old.
Rosario Dawson is the victim of one of the greatest crimes in science fiction. Great actress. Loves comics and sci Fi. Actually gets it. In Star Wars now (thankfully).... ..... SPEAKS KLINGON.... never cast as a Klingon in any Star Trek show or film. This is criminal.
I don't care they boring movies. I still think they great how you making movie. Now I realize some youngster people wanted action valance movie and I don't blame your whole movies.
