I've been cleaning and pressing comics for almost a year now, and when my LCS owner saw what great results I was getting, he began giving me some of his inventory to spruce up, and in exchange I get free new comics. I then use the money I save on new comics too buy back issues

I found a ironheart #1 for under cover a few weeks ago. Nothing better than finding something to sell and being able to fund more books with it. Its so addictive.

Saw monk from beginning to end all seasons when it first aired. I hated how each episode he had to prove he knew what he was talking about. Then solve another case.

My favorite comic cover, Moon Knight 13 Vol. 1 isn't worth much, but the image of Moon Knight soaring in to square off with Daredevil stand on a side mounted building flagpole is awesome! I have several copies just because it makes me remember the first time I saw it on the shelf and snatched it up.

Dr Doom is underrated, he's better than most marvel villains and if he's ever recasted which I doubt he needs to be as twisted like in the comics no matter what age they pull him from.

Bought a old AD&D collection and flipped that for big bucks and I also bought a big comic collection of newer stuff that I don't collect so I still have that to flip.Goal is to get enough for an Avengers annual #10 already picked up Secret Wars 8 and ASM #194.

Picked up 2 copies of FF 353 in a 2 dollar box at a convention in March. Got 90 for them just before Loki started. A couple of weeks ago picked up Batman 6 (new 52) for $10 at my LCS. Court of Owls is a good spec. Hopefully. I have trouble with parting with my books. Need to start selling. Bringing food from home for lunch have helped offset some of my spending..

We buy what we love. Not investing or flipping. Our max on a book would probably be $1000. Only buy raw books. Last big purchase was ASM 300 ($800) and Edge of spiderverse 2 ($500).

Sold a few with mixed results...made money but probably not as much as I could have...didn’t get pressing prior to grading...had buyers get buyer remorse and not purchase...shipping issues with USPS...so profit was made but also actually was hard to let go of books I’ve had for 40+ years...just buying now...probably will start upgrading and downsizing from 4K or so of books...you asked 😎
