Is it true that this unit can program a key when you do not have any working Keys / chips / fobs present for the vehicle ?? I read somewhere that it could for a 2008 Land Rover lr3 and the lost Keys mode. I have a 2008 Land Rover lr3 and the key fob is completely destroyed in the immobilizer chip does not seem to be working when I use the blade with the chip next to it trying to start it. It just flashes red with the immobilizer security Dashboard Light. I'm waiting on a locksmith who is out of town this weekend that has that unit and I'm just trying to get feedback on if it should be able to program with no working key present just some unprogrammed ones

Currently in market to buy a scanner. And seems almost impossible to get straight answers as to what they can do or not do. Key programming sounds good, until I find out I need special codes.

Pls your tool yearly updates are very expensive and people are using china cheap tool to do the same work

But during the pandemic while the WORLD was on LOCKDOWN Autel never considered its customers. Even tho Auto has the most expensive update Cost. During the Lockdown my updates were suspended.

Most states are license states so this is not for auto technicians. Part of being with Nastif is you have to have a locksmith license to perform key making and programming. Otherwise it’s only good for flashing ecu procedures in vehicles.

I need a official online website, where I can go on and buy genuine autel tools.

AUTEL is an unethical company that takes advantage of its consumers. I acquired a maxisys pro in 2015 and had no reason to upgrade its software because it was compatible with all of my vehicles. A free update released an application that works like ransomware and installs a timer that prevents you from accessing the diagnostic part of the tool. Now, all I get is a “Software is not authorized!” message when I try to use the diagnostic part of my tool The only available option is to purchase an upgrade from Autel for $1400.00. Product knotting is illegal in the United States, and this corporation should be severely punished for what they're doing to their customers in order to create cash flow due to the recent lawsuit Autel settled.

Please make sure the people who buy these erase all the keys when they attempt to program a Nissan so I can show up and fix it. The amount of ignorance in the auto industry around immobilizer functions and operation is astounding.

remember autel is so corrupt that you have to buy a whole new tool to program keys for even just key fobs from older vehicles and they don't sell any add on boxes to do this with any of the regular scanners you already have from them for diagnostics

There are much cheaper tools with better options for updates. Your pricing yourselves out of the market but you dont care seeing you replies to others
