Here's the list, revision is imp 1. Don't be too serious about making mistakes 2. Open up/be vulnerable (ofc in a limit) 3. Storytelling 4. Use their name in convo 5. Talk slow 6. Refer to little things the once told you

I made a lasting impression by telling them where I hid the bodies, but I made sure to use the detective's name a lot and ask how his daughters are doing...i don't think he liked that.

This recently occurred in conversation via accidental slip-up: Being "more real" (transparent) is something that is being learning is OK thanks to counseling. I was raised to keep certain things to myself and to not share my own struggles with others. The past few years have been difficult thus cementing the belief of not being valuable. During the slip up when this friend learned this is how I generally observe myself, he was shocked and said that wasn't true. For the first time in several months, that compliment did flicker a sense of confidence and it's really encouraged me to change how to feel about myself.

I’m 15 years old and I’m not anti-social I just don’t really like talking to people at certain times. I do have a friend group but they talk about the craziest stuff. Abortion, gay people, and white people not even being real. I plan to make an impression on the entirety of the class and my friends to get them to open up why they feel this way.
