I see we've brought back the classic format of making episodes based on discord calls

Banana Pudding Recipe: INGREDIENTS 1 1/3 c. whole milk 1 (5.1-oz.) package instant vanilla pudding mix 1 (14-oz.) can sweetened condensed milk 3 c. heavy cream 1 tsp. pure vanilla extract 1 (12-oz.) box vanilla wafer cookies 4 bananas, sliced into coins 2 tsp. granulated sugar DIRECTIONS In a large mixing bowl, combine milk, vanilla pudding mix and sweetened condensed milk. Whisk thoroughly, breaking up any lumps, and refrigerate for at least 5 minutes, or until set. In another large bowl, combine heavy cream and vanilla. Beat until stiff peaks form, 2 to 3 minutes. Set aside half of the mixture for topping the dish. Fold remaining half into the pudding mixture. Cover the bottom of a 3-quart trifle dish with vanilla wafers. Top with one-third of the pudding mixture. Cover with another layer of the wafer cookies-you may want to also stand some cookies up vertically, so you see the full circle along the edge of the trifle dish. Top with an even layer of banana slices. Continue layering the pudding, wafer cookies and banana slices until you reach the top, ending with a final layer of banana pudding. Refrigerate for at least 3 hours, or up to overnight. Sweeten the remaining whipped cream: Add sugar to whipped cream, stirring to combine. Just before serving, dollop on top of the banana pudding, then sprinkle crumbled wafer cookies on top. :)

Bacon Directions Rinse the pork belly and pat dry. Transfer to a resealable 2-gallon plastic bag. To make the spice rub, mix the kosher salt, pink salt, brown sugar, honey, red pepper flakes, paprika and cumin in a bowl. Coat the pork belly all over with the mixture. Close the bag and refrigerate 7 to 10 days, flipping once a day, until the pork belly feels firm. It should take 7 days for a thin belly that is about 11/2 inches thick, longer for a belly that's 2 to 3 inches thick. Remove the pork belly from the bag, rinse thoroughly and pat dry. Refrigerate the belly on a rack, uncovered, 48 hours. Set up your smoker according to the manufacturer's instructions using applewood chips, and set to 200 degrees F. Smoke the pork belly 3 hours, or until the bacon reaches an internal temperature of 150 degrees F. Remove the rind (optional), then slice and cook as desired. To store, wrap the bacon in plastic wrap and refrigerate up to 1 week or freeze up to 2 months. Pink curing salt is a mix of salt and sodium nitrite. It keeps the meat pink and protects it from bacteria. You can find it at specialty food stores or online. Cook’s Note If you don't have a smoker, you can cook the pork belly in a 200 degrees F oven until it registers 150 degrees F on a meat thermometer. (Times will vary; check after about 2 hours.)

The serving size is as such because although this dish is actually very tasty, it’s not easy to eat a lot of it in one sitting. It should be eaten as an appetizer. -1 Eel -1 cup breadcrumbs -¼ cup ketchup -1 teaspoon pepper -1 tablespoon horseradish -Lemon wedges (optional) Spread the breadcrumbs over a cutting board or a sheet of wax paper. Rinse the eel in water and then roll it in the breadcrumbs to fully coat it. In a frying pan, drizzle just a few tablespoons of oil or butter in the pan, just enough to thinly coat the bottom. Heat over medium-high heat, and drop the eel in. Fry the eel on both sides until the breadcrumbs start to brown, then reduce the heat to medium-low. Cook for about 4 minutes on each side til the breadcrumbs are well-browned and the eel is fully cooked. In a small dish, combine the ketchup, pepper, and horseradish to make a fish sauce. Serve the eel with the wedges and sauce. The best way to eat this is in small portions. The eel has a light taste, but the bulk of the flavour comes from the sauce, and the crunch of the breadcrumbs offers a good contrast to the tender fish. In my opinion, it’s much better than the spicy eel.

1.) Take one quarter cup of oats and put it in a food bowl. 2.) Take one half cup of water and put it in the same bowl. 3.) Sprinkle more than a pinch of salt in. 4.) Stir a bit so there's no gross crap on the sides. 5.) Make sure the bowl is big enough so that it doesn't drip with oatmeal in the heating process. 6.) Microwave for 90 seconds. 7.) Cover the whole thing in maple syrup on top a bit. 8.) Stir. 9.) Eat.
