I find it a little weird that they gave Super Buu’s move to Kid Buu, but i don’t mind too much, since it’s basically the Sphere Flame of this game

All of his breakdowns are better than Maximilian's tbh. He does a much better job at finding out the intended role of each character.

Agree. I love Maximillians gameplay videos and commentary, but I find TGNs breakdown videos to be better at explaining and giving tips on how to play all of the characters.

he is very good and hard to defend against his insane pressure also auto combo triangle is very good and fast

It's less those characters being OP and more that Nappa sucks.

Yeah out of all the characters, Nappa just seems to be the weakest he just looks bare bones.

Nappa hits like a truck, and has the longest range normals in the game. KB and Cell technically have longer C. M becuase Cell has a slide, and KB has the foot, but neither of those are safe on block, whereas Nappa can actually space people out with his. I'm 250,000 + and I wipe whole teams with Nappa on point. People aren't making use of all his mechanics.

Damion Dixon All characters do the same damage. Furthermore, Nappa may have reach but so do Cell and Kid Buu and they have a lot of useful abilities to supplement it. Nappa has saibamen and that's it, you can't really compare.

Kid buu doesn't have to end on a no-safe-on block combo with an assist to extend the combo for a reset and then back into the 3rd character's assist into another reset. Alot of pressure. Ofcourse, other characters can do this as will but KB small figure and low hit combos are scary up close.

like get rid of the quarter circle inputs? Cause that would never happen. Directional inputs are a method of balancing specials and supers in fighting games.

dudeonthasopha I'm finding it super hard to play that way, as I like playing with the d-pad as the arrows are more accurate. And even with the stick it's hard.i try to do Kamehamehas and instead I end up doing regular ki blasts.

Sonic the ssj ninja Always use d-pad. it just takes practice if you are new. You just roll your thumb from down to right/left and don't press a button until after the directional inputs are done. It might be your timing but people use pad in SFV and tekken all the time and those have harder inputs.

Aaron Butts Kid Buu and Super Buu, shared it in another game though Super had it in an Ultimate and Kid had it as a regular super.

EternalStorm796 Gohan wasn't bad when I faced him. It was interesting when I had Gohan vs Gohan match ups. Kid buu and frieza were pains to fight because Kid buu stretchy limbs really threw me off some of the time and Frieza players just zoned so much it annoyed me.

i got bodied my Gohan once lost... 3-0 ( he won the game by himself also he summoned Shenron)

oFlappy I am not talking about the game mechanics, because the game is fun as hell (I am fan of arc system's games, specially the GG series) I am talking specific character's moves that will make players spam the hell out of it.

Ray Siroff Pretty much every character has some sort of powerful gimmick. And overcoming spam strats and learning matchups is essential in every fighting game. I only had trouble against Buu in the beta because i didnt come across him enough to learn how he worked

Candy Beam is a universal skill of Buu, he always had. Kid Buu, just doesn't use it as much as his two counterparts if at all, because he just loves to destroy. He only used it in the manga.

dont know about gohan but this is how kid buu has been in every game he thrives as an aggressive player and he immediately shuts down dragon rush spammers. Only way too beat him is to be counter aggressive. if you play too defensively you give him space for not only his triangle combo but his candy beam and his rain attack.

ThatKidmo16 Thats not the problem for me. The problem is that his candy beam (at least in online play) is very difficult to punish. Also, hes a low effort high reward character who can use an auto combo and then use planet burst at the end of it to deal just over half a health bar of damage. No other character has something like that (excluding beerus but his grab is actually hard to land). As for Gohan, i take it back, it was me bitching.

Big Boss easyest way to punish if you have one of those power bowers just transmission behind him an that will start your counter attack

KNYGHTmare 457 agreed, in the beta I got owned twice by two people who basically just abused the candy beam as kid buu (didn't even bother switching to their other characters) then, when I encountered a third person who tried to abuse the candy beam I was ready for it and learned how to counter it (you just gotta jump to avoid the beam and attack from the air, since it can only get you on the ground) then I kicked his bloody ass with gohan! (my best team in the beta was definitely goku, gohan and cell) but yeah, kid buu needs to be nerfed, Its so easy to abuse the candy beam.

In what way is kid buu's candy beam more overpowered than literally any of the other screenwide beam attacks present in most of the cast?
