Jesus Christ...I've been on hypertension medication for more than 15 years but this is the first time I ever learned of the mechanism of a stroke! Thanks a lot and somehow I really wish that you are feinting as a dialysis patient. you look gorgeous!❤

Thank you once again for the very informative and understandable video. I'm so sorry that you have to deal with all this. My mother and husband both passed from kidney failure. I wish I had known more. One had dialysis, the other did not. Thank you for helping so many people. You are a dear sweet person.

Thank you.... that's very informative. I resently buried my grandma who was diagnosed with BP years ago and she was taking her medication well, she died at 88 and her cause of death was body -organs failure: includes kidney, liver, heart and hypertension. I now understand it very well, she was the only parent I know in my life 🕊️🕯️

I had a wonderful grandma, too. Such a blessing for a kid. Your dear grandma gave you the gift of this knowledge in a sense. I’m so sorry you lost her. Live well in her memory, take precious care of yourself like you would her if you could. ❤️

This is exactly what happened to my mother. She didn't take her antihypertensive medicines daily for months then one day she nearly had a stroke, and her remaining kidney function had stopped. Now she is on peritoneal dialysis. Great video! You discussed it well. ❤

@@michaelfinch9082 it's time to change lifestyle now before it's too late. Kidney disease is fatal especially if you have high blood pressure and high blood sugar.

@musicislife.2602 it's not necessarily fatal, if ppl start dialysis and get a kidney. It's not a death sentence. To be honest this is insensitive and incorrect.

@@coffeeandhorses7991 dialysis is not a cure, it's just to prolong your life a little bit and even if you got a new kidney, you still have to watch what you eat. Kidney damage is irreversible. It's all in diet and healthy lifestyle

Thank you for another wonderful video. Could you sometime discuss more in depth about any neurological manifestations of your kidney's failing that you can remember before discovering you had CKD? i.e. Did you have neuropathy in your feet, legs, etc? Did brain fog ever frighten you....as in, were you ever in situations that shocked you at how difficult it was to think straight or to assess situations? What were the hardest things to cope with before dialysis? Kidney failure is ahead of me and I'm trying to gain as much knowledge of what it's like before it happens. I know all folks are different, but I'd be very interested in more understanding of difficulties you faced.

You're right, BP is a big deal when it comes to kidney disease. I think I've been struggling with high BP since Stage 3 CKD and it's been a constant issue trying to get on the right medication without too many side effects. It's a vicious cycle.

So, what is the different between work out where you get your puls up for several hours a day? Is that the same as hypertension? They say work out helps prevent hypertension. But the blood move faster during work out but does not damage the kidney? Or they just say work out make your heart stronger and there fore need to pump less blood around?
