I HAVE USED THE KIFARU SAWTOOTH FOR OVER 3 YEARS NOW AND I HAVE TO SAY I HAVE NEVER HAD IT FAIL ME OR NOT WORK LIKE I WANTED IT TO. THIS IS THE PERFECT SHELTER FOR 2 PEOPLE PLUS GEAR AND A STOVE. BUT I HAVE ALSO USED THIS SHELTER WHEN CAMPING BESIDE A ROAD. BE SURE TO CHECK THEM OUT!!

I have an older 2 person Kifaru that is very similar to this and have used it for over 10 years. It also has a stove and I love it

i had the sawtooth for a while,really enjoy the packability and weight BUT hate this thing for snow loads,nothing beats a tipi shape,i traded it for a kifaru 6 man tipi and i'm really glad i did.Great video man.

Great video Ross! Do you run extra guy lines in the rear portion ever? Also with the stove being near the front door is access ever a problem to the shelter?

I don’t run any extra lines out the end, just the one on the side. And yes there is still plenty of access in and out with the stove as well as wood.

I have the Sawtooth. Will use it in a couple of days. This was also my main concern in Socal’s deserts. I opted for the Catoma Burrow bivy inside the Sawtooth for when I go to places with scorpions and other crawlies such as Southern Cali, AZ, NM, and TX (Desert camping). May not be for everyone, but I think it will work for me.
