Well the original KI was Nintendo exclusive as well right? I never saw a release on a Sega or Sony system. The game is going to get out there for people to play regardless imo.
ClassicEvoVids And KI is also considerednot as classic as STreet Fighter and TEkken. It's the third tier of the 3. We will see and time will tell. I know I've loved watching high level play and I hop that we can see this at EVO 2014.
Killer Instinct has been my favorite fighting game ever since I was a kid, and I have to say that I absolutely love what Double Helix is doing with the game!!! It looks visually awesome!!! I've been noticing every little small changes that are being made... Way to go!!! Keep up the great work!!!
So glad you can choose between the announcers voice, gives you the option to pick what you like and even tryout something different if you feel like it
All the theme's for the different stages are so different in style, genre, and atmosphere. I'm excited to play this game so I can just chill in all the different stages while put in the hours of practice in training mode.
I like both announcers because they're both different in their own right. The original because he is the voice of KI and the new guy because he brings so much hype to a fight.

Wow, you actually did my request (on the right stage as well :D) and damn son, that match was HYPE. The combo possibilities with Sadira's Instinct mode look amazing and Thunder was straight beasting... I've never wanted an Xbone so much.

There's so much hype in the second announcer, just put yourself into it like your the one playing you know your doing shit right when he starts building up the hype for you
I just got done playing this game on a 75" Samsung TV at the Microsoft Store. Damn does it look good. Too bad I suck ass at it. I'll be putting a lot of hours into the Dojo mode.
I hope people enjoy this game but i feel it may be sf x tekken all over again. Gimmicky mechanics and too long combos. Who wants to be waiting around for a 100+ hit combo to finish if you cannot break it and a lot of these look like set pieces. I think 10 or 12 hit linked combos such as fadc combos in sf4 is more than enough.
You can't break that 100 hits combo because in that moment you're dead. It's like a "fatality" in Mortal kombat games. The long combos are the badge of Killer instinct since ever.
Riot.EXE Luckily there are Ultra Enders which allow you to end the ultra earlier, you still get the Ultra and your opponent doesn't get time to pull the plug off their internet.
Thunder was my favorite character to play in the first KI. Missed him when he was omitted for KI2 but i'm thinking if I ever play this game, that frackin insane 80pc combo sold me on him! I'd like to see a Sadira vs. Sabrewulf video next. It'd be interesting to see whose the more dangerous character up close and in the mid-range game since they both are in that area.
Man, what's this dubstep BG sound? What happened to the characteristic sound of each character's scenario? And the cartoon style took the serious previous patterns away from it, as well. By the way, great performance and thanks for sharing the video!!
