Not homing but specifically aiming arc!!!!!! Aiming arc rotates a projectile away from where you’re pointing so as long as you keep looking at the sawblade it won’t get you!

Should add personal gravity field to it too so that the sawblades the mob shoots back fly back at him.

The bosses aren’t so much as hard as they are more about teaching you how to play the game. They all have some unique mechanic to learn to be able to beat them. The wands the connoisseur drops are actually really high tier if you get there and know how to kill it early

I like cheesing it and letting it kill itself early on for a decent wand.

You can eat poly mages to gain a form of polymorphine immunity

Also finding and stacking personal shield perks.

Use hollow egg with homing circle of shielding+blood mist, or smt similar - catch that egg and wear on you, recasting on every launch. It triggers when you are polymorphed, giving your sheep a durable personal shield and an extinguisher (homing homes in on you when polymorphed)

@@gokikuburi8653you mean homing + spark bolt (w/ trigger) + quadruple scatter + 4x plasma beam cross. for the ultimate overkill strategy that can, and will, kill you and everything else.

That’s kinda the point lol, it’s an extremely high risk high reward spell, and only should be used if you can ensure that it will not kill you.

Aiming arc, or projectile repulsion field will keep them away from you.

Connoisseur likes to shoot copies of your projectiles back at you.

The three homing mods are just to make sure the sawblade stays on the boss to continually damage it, aiming arc is there because you can use it to prevent the sawblade from flying back at you afterwards, (although in this clip the boss fires multiple back at me anyway)

Definitely not the only way to kill him, I'm only using omega sawblade here because I had the aiming arc modifier which lets you stop the sawblade from homing back to you. (omega sawblade just does tons of damage)

@@vsochi234 Yeah that's most homing spells, but aiming arc isn't homing despite the very similar image, it makes a projectile move in the direction you are pointing and using that with omega sawblades makes them just about not move towards you if you are pointing at them.

he's specifically weak to saw damage but self damage spells also just do much more damage than most others. homing laser cutter is a community favorite
