KE is truly something special. It’s brought so many wonderful ppl from around the world together because of their mutual fascination with the show and its actors. KE also meant a lot to many ppl personally. I know it did for me. Thank you BAFTAs for recognizing that.

Elena Gobbetti yeah, i agree..it’s because they changed the showrunner/lead writer and we can expect it to continue like this till s3 unless Phoebe comes back and saves the show. Too many scenes left hanging especially in ep5.

@@giovanealves4320 She was certainly invited but evidently couldn't attend. As is increasingly customary, the cast were thanked collectively. Jodie was the only cast member mentioned individually, but just in relation to the wasp story. If you want to hear Sandra thanked individually, watch Fiona Shaw's speech from the same night.

i mean you can’t really give shout outs to everyone in the production team of Killing Eve so usually, like Jodie’s speech, they just say “thank you to the cast and crew.” It’s not as personal as most would like but since the lead drama and lead actress were announced near the end of the ceremony, everyone just wanted to get out of there and eat dinner.

Season 2 isn’t as good as the first season though. The showrunner/lead writer was changed and it affected the creativity and direction of the show. I might be asking for the moon but..Phoebe pls come back to the show!

Harlow Kodiak after writing for Bond, she’ll also be starring in the final UK theatre run of Fleabag in the summer, so i don’t know if she’ll have enough time to write for KE..they shouldn’t have changed the showrunner in the first place.

I might be a little more impressed if BAFTA had not changed their rules and shoe-horned this drama in. Was that badgering by the BBC? I assume they wanted to crow about a fresh-in-the-mind thriller which was adapted by a woman, produced by two women, starred two women, had at least four women writers and before it wains in people's minds. 'Bodyguard'? Pah, forget that, written by a bloke, directed by two blokes and stars a straight, white, male - chauvinists! BBC misandry at its best.
