Agreed! Superani just came out with a video a few days ago of Kim's last art exhibit in Paris and he was so full of life and wonder, and his art was of course stunning. But it was the last time he would ever draw. Almost superhuman talent just snuffed out instantly. It's still hard to fathom.
He's not a savant - he had a ton of practice. I've seen his work from over 15 years ago where he drew mainly in pencil, ball point pens, color pencils. Calling him a savant is very dismissive of his dedication.
@@iitvoii but also a compliment. He was dedicated to his craft, but also born gifted. Can be both. In fact all the best ones, are almost always both. Da Vinci, etc.
