Accompany Hyunjin as he guides you to the Kim Jung Gi Museum. Hyunjin Kim, founder of Superani and the designer and publisher of all KJG Sketch collections, collaborates closely with Kim Jung Gi's family following his unexpected passing. Together, they are dedicated to preserving Kim Jung Gi's legacy by unveiling his renowned and previously unseen artwork to his fans.
This marks the conclusion of our tour at the KJG Museum. We've now reached the top floor, where you'll encounter large scale artworks. Hyunjin graciously shares insights into some of the iconic pieces on display.
The museum has gone to great lengths to recreate KJG's working environment from his studio, allowing fans to immerse themselves in his creative atmosphere. Adjacent to the staircase, you'll find production drawings of goods that KJG was actively developing. Rather than adhering to conventional methods, he often preferred sketching directly on products to spark his illustrations.
We hope that viewers can appreciate a glimpse of KJG's essence and recognize the care and dedication that KJG's family has poured into crafting this remarkable space.
