Kimberbell Mini Quilt April Part 1 March 4, 2024
Join Jan in creating the Kimberbell Mini Quilts, Volume 1: January-June. Each month I will guide you through the embroidery and assembly of these adorable 12" x 12" quilts. Stitch each block on your embroidery machine, add optional background quilting (sold separately) , and sew the blocks together on your sewing machine! In this video (part 1) we will discuss the fabrics, embellishments, and threads needed to create your mini quilt. Then we will quilt and embroidery the Good Egg block, quilt the Sashing Strips, and create the Dimensional Flowers. Get ready for a year of fun with Jan and Kimberbell Mini Quilts!

This is a wonderful video. Thank you! Also, I laughed out loud and agree with you about the sticky back water soluble stabilizer. I prefer two layers of the regular mesh style.

Hi Doris! I agree, these instructions were a little hard to follow as you were going back and forth between 2 sets of instructions. I missed a couple of things too, but really liked my mini quilt when finished.

The instructions were a little different. I still missed a couple of things with all the back and forth between pages. Really liked my Mini Quilt when finished though

I’m new to Kimberbell, and just found out there are mini quilts. My first thing from the company is the ME Time Hoop Studio subscription. I see there is a book of instructions for it, and you explain everything really well. I have a question: are these monthly kits that have all the fabrics for all the parts?

Hi Gerrie! I use my own fabrics for the Mini Quilts, but I'm sure if you look online, someone will have kits available for these also.
